The first part of the competition merely saw Yue Feng barely grasping the basics of the technique. It was only after a brief summary and adjustment in the second part that the counterattack began.
With the experience from the first part, Yue Feng started the second part by frequently jerking the rod at the bait point with a large double hook lure, almost exactly mimicking Bai Xu's movements.
After about a dozen casts at the new fishing spot, fish started to bite. Yue Feng wanted to test the effectiveness of his newly changed fishing line and hook, so he deliberately slowed down his casting frequency by half a beat.
Indeed, after switching to a finer line and a lighter hook, the movements of the float became more realistic and beautiful. Previously, when a fish took the bait, only a slight touch on the float was visible, about a third of an eye's width, but now it started at half an eye's width, and the subsequent movements were more powerful and exaggerated.
