“Sit here for a few seconds,” Bay instructed, pointing to the Scandinavian sofa. “Your handsomeness is distracting. I’m going upstairs for the pair of Lucky Brand jeans, which I know will fit you, since you already took them from me once. Can you stay here and not fly away?”

Christopher agreed. “I only want to be with you this evening, Mr. Woods.”

As Bay started his climb on the stairs to the second floor, he told the man, “Bay. Call me Bay. It’s only right after seeing you naked.”

Truth shared, Bay didn’t expect to see Christopher Lavre in the living room upon his return with the jeans. To his surprise, the changeling, shifter, or whatever the man claimed to be, was still seated exactly where Bay had instructed him to stay.

Patiently, a lined smile spread across his handsome face, Christopher said, “I like your clothes. I also like that we wear the same size.”

Bay passed him the clean jeans.
