Coffee Break
Though it's a small gesture on his part and he may not think much of it, it means a lot to me. Especially with how my day has been going.
"I didn't know how you take your coffee—"
"It's perfect. Thank you, Frank. What is it you wanted to talk about?"
"I heard you started dating some big shot star."
"I did."
He chuckles at my begrudging statement.
"Was that the one who kept sending you all those flowers?"
"Yeah, sorry 'bout that."
"I thought you said he wasn't your boyfriend?"
"You know how life can be. He was pretty convincing. I couldn't help but be charmed by his persistence."
And by charmed I mean trapped thanks to a technologically advanced reporter.
"So from what I've seen you're getting hounded by the paparazzi."
"Yep. They seem to work fast."
