chapter 3

After walking out of the subway Lara decided not to go home. Her house was not homey anymore it was just an asset that would soon be taken away from her. She decided to try something she had never done. Now she was standing in front of Sweet Night a street night club. She had being roaming around till it was six in the evening.

She always heard people say drinking would take away your sorrow but she had never paid attention to it. If this were before Lara would be afraid to near a club. she had avoided photos of being caught in a club by reporters who were devils to be avoided in a famous world.

She eyed the six feet seven bouncer as he assessed her attair.

There was something uncanny about the man that stood in front of her but she was unable to pinpoint fact.

She gave him a side glance before walking into the club.

As usual the place was blaring with loud music that anyone's eardrums could burst but the people acted as if it was normal to go deaf in a club.

As she looked around she noticed that she well covered which made her wonder if it was the reason the bouncer had checked her for long.

She was on a black ripped jean and off shouldered red top. She had worn this for the whole day.

She looked at a young woman who covered her nipples with stars and had her front view covered with less cloth while her behind was exposed.

She was terrified by the sight she doubted if here was where people drank away their sorrow.

She went over to the bar and asked the bartender to give her his best shot since she had no idea of any alcohol mixture.

"Here". The bartender handed her the drink with an eerily smile.

"Hope you like it." He said.

"Thanks". She said taking a sip that almost choked her to death. The alcohol was so strong and bitter that she wondered how the man next to her had the courage to drink it down in one go.

"Tyros?, You should have said so have this instead. Sorry about that."

"Thank you". Lara said this was the kindest words she had heard since today.

She took the drink he gave her and it hit her taste bud making her eyes go wide at the sweetness. She looked at the bartender and he just smiled at her.

After three shots of the sweet drink Lara was dead drunk. The drink was a mixture of sweet peaches and alcohol.

" Miss, are you okay?". The bartender asked worried about her zero tolerance to alcohol. He had even reduced the amount of alcohol he mixed in her drink.

"Don't... worr... about... me... I'm fine...". Lara said drunkly. She got up and staggerd away into the crowd.

Lara had staggerd away into the restricted section thinking it was an exit. It was difficult to get through the restricted section but the bouncer stationed there was on a break and the next one was late. Rumor had it that those who entered the restricted section never came out the same but fate had a way of playing it's game.
