Coming Back as Someone Else

Sia woke up the next morning, feeling dizzy. She looked at the clock and realized that she was late for work.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhh! I'm late!"

She took off the ring and put it on her side table. She headed towards the bathroom. She changed her clothes, took her bag and quickly went out. Nat was sleeping in the hotel room as she was not required on location. She received a call from Mr. Reasus to come so, she quickly changed her clothes. She was about to go out when she realized a beautiful sparkling ring on Sia's bedside table.

"She must've forgotten to wear it."

So, she wore it and went to work. On the location, Daniel was continuously changing poses, and camera shutter noises could be heard after seconds. Everybody was used to the dazzling light so, it did not bother them. When the shoot was over, Nat came to Daniel to discuss the next shoot, even though it was Sia's task but Sia was late for work and got scolded by Mr. Resus. So, he thought that it was better to ask Nat to handle the task and not burden Sia. As Nat was having a conversation with Daniel and making notes, he realized a familiar ring on her finger.

"The ring looks nice."

"Thank you, Mr. Daniel."

"Is it yours?"

"Why do you ask?"

"Just in case I have to buy for someone special. I just wanna know from where did you buy it?"

"It's Sia's ring, not mine. She forgot it in the hotel room so, I wore it to return it to her at work."

"Oh!", said Daniel, pretending to be amazed.

Sia saw Nat and Daniel talking but did not disturb them. She interrupted as soon as she saw the ring on Nat's finger.

"What happened?"

She said as if she didn't know anything.

"Oh.....Sia....You forgot your ring in your room."

She took the ring off her finger and handed it over to Sia.

"Thanks."

At that time, Mr. Reasus called Nat and she went away. Daniel took the ring from Sia and put it on her finger. She quickly held back her hand.

"Take care of it, wifey."

He chuckled. She was annoyed.

"Shhhhhh. You'll let everybody know."

"When can I let everyone know?"

"After I tell my parents."

"Then let's go for dinner, tonight."

"No."

"Why?"

"Because I said so."

"Look over there."

Daniel pointed at a random thing. As soon as Sia diverted her attention, she realized Daniel kissing her cheek and ran away. She was annoyed.

"He is really a pervert!", she thought.

The day came when they were about to head back. The trio was packing their things. They kept on asking each other if they had kept all of the things or not. After Sia was done packing, her phone rang. It was Daniel.

"Hello."

"Hi."

"What are you doing?", asked Daniel.

"Packing up my stuff."

"Well, let's travel together."

"Nope."

She hung up the phone within seconds. Daniel was confused. She was quite an unpredictable lady. She did not want to tell anyone about her marriage yet. So, she was trying to act normal. She traveled with her friends. As soon as she reached home, her parents came to welcome her.

"Hello, sweetie!", said Memona and hugged her.

"Hello, mom!"

"How was the flight?", said Fiano.

"Fine, papa."

" How was the experience? You didn't send me any pictures.", asked Memona.

"It was such a busy week that I didn't go anywhere."

"Oh!"

"Do you wanna eat?", asked Memona.

"No, mom. I'm full. I'll go to my room."

"Okay."

She went upstairs to her room. She washed her face and looked at herself in the mirror. She thought how would she make her parents understand about her helplessness. How can she tell them that she had married Daniel in Japan?

She ignored everything and went to sleep. She woke up when her phone rang. It was Daniel.

"Hello, wifey. How are you?"

"Fine.", she replied while yawning.

"Did I disturb you?"

"When do you not disturb me?", she replied.

Daniel chuckled.

"So, did you tell your parents?"

"No."

"Why?"

"I'm waiting for the perfect moment."

"Well, I think you shouldn't wait for the perfect moment. As they say, find a moment and make it perfect."

"You can't wait, right?"

"Nope."

"Just wait till I tell them."

"Be quick then."

"Okay, I have to go now."

"Bye."

"Bye."

As soon as she hung up the phone, she realized that Daniel's side was noisy. She could hear some punching noises at the back. She shrugged and rubbed her face.

"WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW!?"
