Chapter 3: Desparate attempt to save the damsel-in-distress

Anyway, while entering the karaoke center, I saw a few guys carrying a girl and going to the hotel on the opposite side of the road. For some reason, the girl looked familiar. So, I looked closely and found out the girl was Ichika. Among those guys, one of them was Tatsuya and the others were burly guys like gangsters. Tatsuya seemed to be quite friendly with those guys. I got so shocked at this that I forgot to think what I was supposed to do. My mind fell in complete chaos.

"What is going on? Why is Ichika with those kind of guys? What is Tatsuya so friendly with them? Where are they taking her and why? Why is she unconscious? Is she in danger? I have to save her but how? ..."

My mind was filled with countless questions like this. Meanwhile, Alex was at the reception of the karaoke center. When he found that I was not following him, he rushed back. When he found me, he asked why I was standing on the gate like that. I informed him about everything.

"Then, what the fuck are you doing standing here? Quickly call the police."

Only then did I remember that Ichika's dad was a high ranking-police officer. I quickly reached my pocket to pull my phone out when I found it empty. I totally forgot that my mother had confiscated my phone right that morning. I wanted to curse at mom but I remembered that it was totally my fault. If only I didn't play games and watch animes too much! Anyway, having no other way, I gave Alex the duty to call the police and ran towards the hotel myself. It is a fact that I stayed in my room almost all the time but it doesn't mean that I was weak. I had been training myself in my room in case I fell in any problem. At least, I can ran away from the danger in this way.

Anyway, I focused all my strength towards my legs and ran as fast as I can. Thankfully there was not much traffic in the road or it would have been catastrophic for me. I reached the gate of the hotel. There were some security guards and hotel management members in the lobby. I didn't give much attention to them and kept running desperately. There was no time to explain everything. Her safety is the first priority. Seeing me running so fast towards the gate of the hotel, the guards tried to stop me but failed as I dodged their attacks and used their openings to run past them and entered the hotels. I saw Tatsuya with those guys in the lift which immediately closed. Finding no other way, I rushed through the stairs. The staff and guards tried to catchup with me but failed. After I reach 4th floor, I saw that the hotel management was searching through the floors and they are at the 3rd floor. Meanwhile, I was fully exhausted. I could barely keep standing.

Anyway, I had kept an eye at the list lights on the lift gate and found out that the lift only stopped at 10th floor and it was coming down. I ran quickly to the 5th floor because the guards were getting to the 4th floor but missed the lift. My heart fell into despair. I had to run up five floors while I barely had any strength left. Though I trained myself, running up 5 floors is tough as hell let alone 10 floors. Anyway, I had no other choice. Forcing my body to its limits, I pushed myself and kept running. When I reach the 10th floor, my body was literally falling apart. I ran up 10 floor in around 2 minutes. Anyway, I had no time to rest. I have to find their room ASAP. I searched around for their room. Just when I was giving up hope, I heard a sound from the last room of this floor. I quickly went towards that room and hear voices from the room. What I heard shook me to my core.
