When we arrived home, Bran was already waiting for us. He hugged Cee and asked her how her day was. All Cee said was she had a perfect day thanks to me. Bran teased her a bit and she just smiled. She then said good night to both of us.

Bran and I were on the way to the pub when he suddenly said, "Thanks for making Cee happy,bro. Its been a long time since I've seen her this happy". I didn't know how to answer so I smiled and settled for a safe answer and said, "That's okay bro. Its good to know that Cee enjoyed today."

The rest of the ride was uneventful so when we arrived at the pub, we ordered our usual and while waiting for the food to arrive, I then talked to Bran.

"Bro, you might be wondering why I asked you to eat out tonight. I actually wanted to talk to you about something."

"Yes, I was. But I think I have an idea. Its about Cee, right?"

"uhmm... yeeaah... How did you figure it out?"

"Well I know my sister well and I know you too. I sense that there's something brewing here."

"Yes I actually wanted to talk to you about Cee."

"Are you uncomfortable in the house with her around?"

"No, its not that. Its actually the opposite. I feel very comfortable with her around. It's as if I've known her for so long but maybe because you told me all about her before I got the chance to meet her."

"That's great Bro. I thought that you felt uncomfortable with her around."

"The reason why I wanted to talk to you is that I want to ask for your permission to court her. Not now but maybe as I get to know her more. I feel very comfortable with her and I want to spend every minute of the day with her. I want to make her happy and make her feel special. This is the first time that I've ever felt like this towards a girl. And I don't want to screw it up that's why I am taking my time. But I want to ask for your permission first."

"Wow! I didn't see that coming bro. To tell you honestly, I am very protective of Cee because she's the only sister that I have. And I want her to be happy. I don't ever want to see her cry and I would kill if I'd see her get hurt. But seeing her so happy with you makes me feel happy. When you texted me earlier that you wanted to talk, I then thought of Cee and guessed that maybe it has something to do with her and I was correct. You're like a brother to me and I would be very honest with you that I wouldn't really like that but if it makes you happy and if Cee would be happy about it then I would be okay with that. As long as you are both happy then I will both support you. But there's only one thing that I ask of you. Please don't hurt her or else you'll have me to answer to."

"Thanks bro. I will do my best to do everything to make her happy and avoid hurting her. It really means a lot that you approve. I assure you that I'll take care of her."

"Not a problem. As long as Cee is happy then I am happy too. But maybe get to know each other more first."

"That's my plan bro. Thanks a lot."

We ate and then talked about other stuff. It was such a relief that Bran approves of my plan to court Cee. All I need to now is focus on getting to know Cee more so that we could finally be together. I hope that she feels the same way too.
