Chapter 13 The Party 1

After what felt like forever, Magdalene finally arrived at the anticipated party. She was still admiring the beauty of the hotel that she did not even realize when Dean got out of his seat towards her side of the car and opened the door like a gentleman. Well, not that he wasn't one anyways.

"Once you are done feasting your eyes at the building you might as well want to come into it",he said with a straight face trying to hide his intentions of mocking her.

"Mr Dean King, I am your date for the evening and yet you dare to mock me, she said with a pout.

Taking a step out of the car with Dean holding her hand, she looked up to him and smiled wickedly trying to taunt him,"what do you think people will say if they should find out about our setup, huh?

Now it was Dean's turn to smile wickedly as he pulled her into his arms and said, "what setup are you talking about, last time I checked you are Mrs Dean King my woman".

The manner with which he spoke was menacing but Magdalene refusing to back down spoke further .

"Well, I thought we were doing this low key, but with the way you are going about this the paparazzi will soon get some spicy news for tomorrow, or what do you think dear husband"?

The last part was said with so much sacarsm, jolting Dean back to his senses, "shit". All eyes were on them , if they were in a contest they would have probably won first place for the most romantic couple of the evening.

There was a triumphant smile that curved upon Magdalene's lips, and that was one thing that Dean found about her interesting.

"She is indeed an interesting character", never backing down from day one.

" Ahem, ahem, sorry to interrupt sir, madam but you...

... Without letting the security finish up his sentence, they both left each other in a rather awkward way.

"I looked like a fool just now," Said Dean still wondering how he could have gotten lost in the moment.

Tsk," am sorry , did you just say you looked like a fool? Believe me when I tell you that with the way people are looking at you, tsk , tsk,tsk, they still consider you a fool".

For once Dean could not find the right word to utter back, he simply accepted defeat.

Looking down at the petite lady that just spoke to him he could not help but chuckle, "how can you say such about your husband sweetheart"?" If I am a fool then you are also a fool"

" Dean let's just go in already, am sure you already had your fun for the evening " Magdalene said with a pout.

Yet again her facial expressions made Dean chuckle, this woman indeed knows how to get to him.

Taking her hands in his, they both smiled at their childish antics and walked the red carpet together.

Wows and gasps were all that Magdalene could here through the crowd , alongside the bright lights and flashing cameras. She felt like a model going through the runway.

"This is beautiful Dean ,just imagine how much money was wasted in organising such a party".

" Common Magdalene,this isn't much in comparison to the others,that you will be attending to during your time with me" ,Dean said smiling in a way that made him look even more dashing.

After greeting a few persons,Dean heard a familiar voice,it was Matt.

"Hey man, you didn't tell me you were coming,I would have loved for us to go and catch some fun,if you get what I mean man," he said winking.

" Cut the crap Matt would you, can't you see he is already in the company of a lady". It was Sean that interfered now.

From the familiarity in their time, Magdalene could tell that they are pretty close and wild as well, especially the blonde.

"This is definitely going to be a long night"...
