"What the hell". Ralph shouted as he saw his mother throwing his stuff into the dump.

He jumped down from his car and dragged the box from his mother who gasped in surprise.

"What the hell Ralph, I've told you to stop doing that. You scared the hell out of me".

"Why the hell are you throwing my stuff in to the dump".

His mother laughed. "Oh common Ralph you had this stuff for like ten years now. Isn't it time to let it go".

Ralph ignored his mother. And walked to his room.

Saturdays were always boring. Olivia threw her dirty clothes into the washer.

She left it and headed for the kitchen. Her mother stared the food.

"Did you hear there's a new neighbour coming today". Her mother said as she approached her.

"Yeah mother you've said that a thousand times." Olivia answered uninterested.

Her mother sighed. "You know Olivia sometimes it's good to loosing up a bit. You're going to become a full wolf tomorrow."

"Yeah and that's if I survive it". Olivia muttered under her breath.

"Don't talk that way Olivia. Everyone in our family has always survived it and you won't be an exception".

"Yeah mum you've said that a dozen of times". Olivia picked up an apple and left for the washer.

Her mother sighed. In the last few years her once lively daughter had change and she really hopes it doesn't affect her growing up.

Ralph got to say California didn't really look that bad. He packed his belongings and headed for his new room.

"Come back here and help your mother pack stuffs into the kitchen". his father shouted.

He grumbled and went back to pack.

The house seemed a little to big for a street house.

He looked around the street, each house looked really expensive.

But they didn't seemed occupied with much people cause the street was extremely quiet. later the new house was set and he decided to go on a stroll to the park.

Olivia frowned as the kids present at the pack threw another ball at her.

"Would you guys stop it. I'm serious."

She frowned as the kids seemed to enjoy making her angry. "Ok that's it you're all dead".

She picked up all the paper balls they threw she attempted to throw it but a voice stopped her.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Calm your self down they were only playing with you".

Olivia turned to look at where the voice had come from.

A boy in jean and weird coloured washed tee shirt. His eyes held a little of mischief in them they were icey green. His hair was deep black and she couldn't help thinking what the hair would feel like if she has a chance to touch it.

Ralph was captured by the beauty, he saw before him. the girls fiery and angered looking eyes. They held a mixture of darkshades of grey or was it dark silver. The angered look she wore made it difficult to know the exact colour.

"This kids are devils, they do it on purpose". Olivia said angrily.

"Yeah I know the feeling. Just try make them think their behavior is not affecting you. They'll leave you".

Olivia was somehow confused. This unknown boy was talking to her without being ashamed to. Maybe he was new in the neighborhood.

"My name is Ralph, what's yours." The boy held out his hands.

Olivia threw down the paper balls and dusted her hands.

"I'm Olivia". she said and they shaked.

Ralph stared at their intertwined hands. Her hands felt incredibly soft and warm. And he suddenly felt like holding it through out the day of she didn't mind him doing it.

Olivia withdrew her hands back in awkwardness.

Why was she feeling shy. Why are you feeling shy Olivia. He doesn't even like you. Its not like any one does. I'm sure if he finds out every body in this neighborhood ignores you. He would also ignore you.

"So tell me, what are you doing in the park today". Ralph said jotting Olivia out of her daze.

" well you know. I just try to go out sometime instead of being hooked up in the house all day". Olivia said surprised at her own outburst. She couldn't believe it. This was the first time she wasn't shy about talking to someone apart from her parents. Even talking to her cousins was like swallowing a huge ball down her throat.

Ralph nodded on understanding. "So you have no friends, I guess we are the same. So would you like to be my friend Olivia."

Olivia smiled and her face lit up. Somebody was willing to be her friend. "Of course Ralph I would like to be your friend". Both teenagers laughed unaware of the stares they were getting from behind. Olivia's mother stood behind them watching her daughter laugh and she couldn't stop the smile that formed on her face.

For the first time in ages her daughter Olivia was smiling. Who was this kid that made her daughter smile.

Well she was going to find out. For all she knew. She was determined to make them become best friends.

" So you're new in the neighborhood I guess." Olivia asked as they both say down on one of the benches in the park. She returned her novel to her bag and faced Ralph who kept grinning all the way.

"Yeah I am new".

" I should say I hated this neighborhood when I first saw it but maybe this isn't all to it." Ralph prayed she got the hint. But Olivia just shrugged.

"Thought so to the first time but I would advice you to stay of the woods at night. It can be really scary sometimes you know." Olivia said also Hoping he got the hint to stay away from the forest cause you never know. There might be a rogue around.

"Okay mummy I get it". Ralph replied and they both laughed. The afternoon went on with both teenagers keeping theirself company and laughing with every word they said. Olivia was somehow great full that at last in ages. She saw someone who she liked and would love to keep on talking to. Ralph didn't seem that bad. Unlike the boys she had seen here.

" So I'll see you when again." Ralph asked feeling compelled to ask for her number but he kept he's cool. If they were destined to meet again then he does not need her number.

"Maybe when next we meet in the park. It was nice meeting you though. And I absolutely look forward to our next meeting". Olivia waved at Ralph and walked away and Ralph just continued to stare at her retreating figure. Anyway it was time for him to go home. He's feeling hungry.

Olivia continued smiling as she opened the door. She made a friend. A real friend.

"So how did it go". Was the first thing she heard as she came into the kitchen.

"Oh Mom. You were there weren't you". She pointed an accusing finger at her mother.

"Of course I was. How do you think I know he's so cute". Her mother replied with a dreamy face. And Olivia gasped.

"Mom. You have a husband you know".

"I know honey but is there a law that says married women can't admire any other men". Olivia shrugged.

"I don't think there is."

"Get ready Olivia, we have a new neighbour in town and we are going there for dinner". Her mother said and Olivia frowned.

"You know I don't like going to people's house let alone make new friends."

"Yeah but you didn't seem sad to make friends with that boy. And besides you would be surprised to see who we are having dinner with". Her mother said.

Olivia rolled her eyes. "Oh I can't wait." She muttered sarcastically and went to her room.

"Remember to dress well Olivia, we need to make a good impression." Her mother shouted after her.

Olivia sighed as she threw the third cloth on the bed. Come to think of it. Why was she so bothered about dressing up. It was just a foolish forced family dinners anyway. She took out a short gown and put it on. She went down the stairs.

"Mum I'm ready".

"Ok dear wait we're coming". Her mother shouted.

Few minutes later her family were at the front door of the Rodin's family.

Her mother knocked and immediately a woman in her early forties opened the door.

"Oh Beatrice you are here". The lady who was clearly the mother of the house said and Olivia looked between her and her mother. They were acting like they knew each other.

"Yes Morgan were are here. Now let us in I'm starving". Olivia's mother joked and Morgan laughed.

"Of course Beatrice come in. Don't mind my manners." Morgan opened the door wider to let the family come in. Immediately Morgan saw Olivia her eyes lit up in mischief and she smiled knowingly to Beatrice who in turn returned the smile.

"You must be Olivia. Your mother told me a lot about you". Nathan said as he walked them to the dinning.

Olivia nodded shyly making Morgan laugh.

"They all sat in the dining, men talking to men and woman to woman and Olivia. Well Olivia watched them talk.

"I'm sorry olivia but my son tends to come late every single time. He hates family dinners." Morgan said when she noticed Olivia sour looks and Olivia nodded in understanding.

"Oh please if she had her way she wouldn't be here either." Olivia's mother added

"I'm here mother as you insisted". Olivia looked up at the sound of the voice and she gasped in surprise when she saw Ralph.
