Zhang Xuan's Shock

After a moment's worth of though, Zhang Xuan finally came up with a somewhat plausible theory.

In his previous world, he had been a librarian, however despite living a rather boring life, he had heard of random people disappearing without a trace from time to time. Since he had been brought to this world without any notice, could it be that other people from his world who had disappeared would also experience the same?

If his theory was correct, who knew if there were other people from his previous world who came to his current one, possibly even possessing stronger innate items than the Library of Heaven's Path. After all, he had been sure that Lu Fengyi did not possess any cultivation when he first met him and only a day later, he had already become pinnacle of the Dantian realm. There was no way that there was anybody so inconceivable, meaning the only possibility was that Lu Fengyi was also a transcendent!

Noticing that Zhang Xuan had seemed to figure something out, Lu Fengyi knew that there would be no point delaying the inevitable. Wanting to simply help out Zhang Xuan with his endeavours, it seemed that he had stepped a little too far. Zhang Xuan was not a gullible person by any means.

"Brother Bai, I have private affairs to discuss with my teacher. We'll have to part ways for today." Lu Fengyi nodded towards Elder Bai.

Of course, Elder Bai did not keep them busy, quickly waving both of them a goodbye before striding towards the guild hall. Even if one was curious, they shouldn't overstep their bounds just to find out.

Turning towards the exit of the guild, Lu Fengyi indicated for Zhang Xuan to follow him. Of course, Zhang Xuan did not complain, curious as to what Lu Fengyi had to say. They may be of student-teacher status, however the fact that Lu Fengyi could have been someone from his previous world sparked his interest.

Upon leading Zhang Xuan out of the guild and back towards the academy, Lu Fengyi spoke, "There are many things that I want to confess, however we must reach a spot that is rarely frequented first. How about your classroom?"

Smiling awkwardly at the indirect insult, Zhang Xuan nodded in assent.

Together, the two walked down the long stairs before arriving before arriving at that familiar wooden door. Entering the classroom, Lu Fengyi gestured for Zhang Xuan to take a seat before sitting in a seat of his own.

Unable to hold back his curiosity, Zhang Xuan quickly asked, "So, what do you have to tell me?"

Licking his lips in anticipation, Lu Fengyi took a breath before responding, "What if I were to tell you I know everything about you?"

"Um..." Zhang Xuan was left unsure of how to answer.

"What if I were to tell you even your innermost secrets have been exposed to me?'

"..."

Seeing that Zhang Xuan was unable to fully comprehend his words, Lu Fengyi sighed before continuing, "The Library of Heaven's Path."

Instantly, Zhang Xuan's eyes constricted in surprise, standing up from his seat and backing several steps away, "What do you know?"

Laughing brightly, Lu Fengyi gestured for Zhang Xuan to sit back down before answering, "I know many things. You were a librarian in your past life, you have an almost incurable disease within your body, you took students in the beginning just to keep your position as a teacher."

At each of the statements, Zhang Xuan could only grow more and more shocked. Not only did this man know that he possessed the Library of Heaven's Path, he even knew about his past occupation, his body condition and even his inner thoughts. Unless this man was a demon who had mind reading abilities, was there any other explanation?

"You must be completely confused as to how I know about all of these." Lu Fengyi continued.

Zhang Xuan nodded.

"Then I shall tell you," Lu Fengyi took a moment before continuing, "I'm a god!"

Staring oddly at Lu Fengyi, not knowing whether to believe the boy or not, Zhang Xuan could only wait.

Feeling a little foolish, Lu Fengyi grinned, "I'm kidding, however I do have a means of knowing many things about everyone. Due to *ahem* certain reasons, I cannot disclose the method."

Knowing that Lu Fengyi would not reveal anything if he didn't want to, Zhang Xuan asked, "Is there anything else about you that you're willing to reveal?"

Lu Fengyi paused for a moment before smiling, "Of course there is!"

Standing up from his seat, Lu Fengyi revealed his cultivation aura from his body, unrestricted by the cultivation sealing application. Instantly, the seats within the classroom were smashed into smithereens on the walls while an intense storm of wind and energy began to form in the centre of the classroom.

Mouth gaping, Zhang Xuan could only mutter, "T-T-Tongxuan realm pinnacle?"

'This decimating aura, this power! It could only be Tongxuan realm pinnacle. But if he really is, doesn't that mean he's already one of the kingdom's most powerful figures? What the hell is this? If the royal family was to hear of his achievements, they might as well dethrone themselves in shame!'

Trying to pry a little further into Lu Fengyi's secrets, Zhang Xuan took advantage of the fact that Lu Fengyi was currently releasing his cultivation to hurriedly make use of the Library of Heaven's Path, 'Flaws!'

Usually, the moment he willed for flaws to appear for a cultivator who was displaying martial skills or his cultivation, a page of flaws would appear, allowing him to pinpoint the weaknesses and issues with the opponent, however the Library shook twice before displaying a page dyed with a red shade.

Zhang Xuan stared in shock as the Library was suppressed by the red glow, enveloping the book and shutting it tight within his consciousness. Quickly exiting his thoughts, Zhang Xuan glanced at Lu Fengyi who was now smiling.

"I've blocked out the Library of Heaven's Path for now. As I was saying before, although I am not a god, I am a transcendent like you, however I've received something more powerful than the Library of Heaven's Path will ever be, even if it fully matures."

Zhang Xuan nodded. Although the Library of Heaven's Path could not only show him the flaws of others and objects, but also collect and compile information to find the most correct statement that would fit the Heaven's Path, it was completely obvious that whatever the hell that Lu Fengyi had was far superior as not only had his cultivation increased by leaps and bounds in a matter of a few days but his knowledge and understanding of concepts had never registered any flaws within the Library of Heaven's Path, meaning that it was of utmost correctness.

Zhang Xuan almost cried as he thought back to his arrogance. He had thought he was already quite the man, being able to increase cultivation at one of the fastest rates while also possessing such a treasure, yet in no time, another transcender had come down with something even more overpowered than the Library of Heaven's Path.
