Between the worried whimpers of it's sister beside it or the angry growls of their mothers in the distance, the cubs mind worked overtime trying to find a solution

As if guided by some higher force, it's eyes fell on the countless leaves surrounding them

Then a strange idea popped into its mind

No matter how much it denied the possibility, it only grew and grew, sound more convincing by the minute

Gritting it's teeth as it had nothing to lose at this point, the cub stretched out it's hand and grabbed a paw full of leaves, 4 or 5 to be exact and under it's sister's confused gaze, devoured them and closed it's eyes hoping and praying as it opened it's status to see any changes

Only to suddenly start laughing humanely, which looked strange considering it's current form, actually surprising it's sister and the hyenas down below

But the cub payed this no mind after seeing the increase in upgrade points, it was only 0.1 per leaf but as the Chinese would say

Mosquito meat is still meat

And in this situation, there was no better option

So under the gaze of it's sister and the hyenas below, the cub started madly devouring the leaves around them, at points even biting into branches in it's frenzy

This persisted until the cub felt bloated to the point it brought him pain considering it ate it's body weight in leaves several times over, the power ful stomach brought by the system allowing it to,

Having decided enough was enough and opened his status to see what he had gained

The cub cackled internally having seen the ridiculous number, once again feeling how great it was to have this system

Considering how he had eaten more than 10 times it's own body weight and what made it even happier was the fact that after upgrading it could repeat the process

( A.N equivalent to a 200 pound man eating 2 tones of food )

Randomly selecting 2 things to upgrade, the cub waited for it's stomach to return to normal before starting to eat once more as his body went through the changes. Something he only found out recently, he could post pone the upgrades or he could have them instantly

At this point the cub could no longer taste how disgusting the leaves where as they entered his mouth

His mind completely on upgrading and gaining the strength to help him and his sister out of their current predicament along with breaking the necks of a few lions

He didn't even have the hatred he started feeling towards the hyenas as he felt the strength coursing through his body, not even noticing the rapidly changing level of vision

Only to suddenly freeze

' as expected, it was too good to be true ' thought the cub as it finally turned it's attention to it's sister, finally realizing the drastic different in size compared to before
