I raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "What kind of rumors?" "That he's locked himself away in his castle, surrounded by his loyal guards," Luca said, his voice barely above a whisper. "Some say he's lost his mind, while others claim he's plotting something big." I snorted. "I wouldn't put it past him. He's always been a heartless monster) *** please vote and send gifts******

Around five AM, the palace's grand entrance swings open and Lord Ryan passes through his face drawn with concern and worry.

He had traveled throughout the night after receiving the urgent message from Alexander.

As he strode down the corridor, his gaze scans the area, searching for any sign of Luca. Xaitar who was stationed outside Luca's chamber, stood at attention, his eyes falling onto Lord Ryan.

"Your Grace," Xaitar said, his voice deep and respectful, as he opened the door for Lord Ryan. "He is inside."

Lord Ryan's eyes narrowed, his jaw clenched. "How is he?" he asked, his voice low.

Xaitar's expression was serious "The healers have tended to his wounds, but he remains weak."

Lord Ryan nodded curtly, pushing past Xaitar into the room.

The door creaks shut behind him, and Xaitar resumed his post.
