I raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "What kind of rumors?" "That he's locked himself away in his castle, surrounded by his loyal guards," Luca said, his voice barely above a whisper. "Some say he's lost his mind, while others claim he's plotting something big." I snorted. "I wouldn't put it past him. He's always been a heartless monster) *** please vote and send gifts******

THIRD PERSON POV

Fifteen years ago, a young kid was running for his life alongside his mother. They were escaping from the monsters , their footsteps echoing through the forest. The mother's breath was ragged, her eyes darting back and forth as she searched for a safe haven.

"Hide here, I will be right back," she hurriedly instructed, pushing Nikolas into a nearby cave. "Stay quiet, don't make a sound."

Nikolas' eyes welled up with tears as he watched his mother disappear into the darkness. "Mom, mom!" he cried out, his small voice shaking with fear.

But she didn't return. The minutes ticked by, and Nikolas was left alone, his heart pounding in his chest. He prayed for his mother to come back, but the only response was the eerie silence of the cave.

"Run!" Nikolas heard his mother scream, her voice filled with terror. He looked up to see her being held by the neck, her eyes bulging as she struggled to break free.
