Chapter 27 No One Accompanied Her

Adele received the task. She contacted the manufacturers she had worked with before. After arranging the meeting time, she was ready to move her things to the office.

When she packed up her things, the surrounding colleagues all looked at her and some even gathered together to discuss it.

"What background does she have? I heard that the intern under her Jacquelin, was fired because she had offended her. It's terrible!"

"Is that so? I was wondering why I didn't see Jacquelin these days."

All kinds of random voices entered Adele's ears. She frowned, quickly packed up her things, and walked towards her office with the cardboard box in her arms.

She knew in her heart that her promotion indeed did not conform to the company's system. Now that things had come to this, the only thing she could do was meticulously take up her work.
