he looked displeased and furious at this "interruption"

I was the one who called him before arriving here because my car has been troubling me so much recently that I don't know if I'll be able to go back home soundly without showing it to the mechanic,

It stopped working while I was going to Heinrey's party too and that caused me so much trouble

I needed to show my car to a service center for a long time but had been delaying it.

But I don't think I can delay it any longer,

Aaron was nearby today so he told me that he'd pick me up and then both of us would go to the mechanic

The call has been ringing for a while now

"Pick it up"

Mr. West ordered.

I looked up at him and saw a vexed look on his face

I picked up the call

"Yes, Aaron?"

"What took you so long?"

Aaron asked because It was really unlikely for me to take so long to pick up a call

"Oh n-nothing"

My words stutter in Mr. West's presence

"Okay?... anyways, I've called to let you know that I'm waiting outside so please be quick!"

"Yeah... I'll be there in a minute"

Hungs up the call

"Boyfriend?"

He raised his eyebrows as he asked this very... unethical question.

Like? Why does it matter to him?

"Definitely not"

I sputtered

"Even so, I don't think it should concern you in any way"

I firmly stated

"It does concern me"

He muttered

"May I know why?"

I asked

He cleared his throat and looked at me in my eyes confidently like he owned me and said

"Because I've clearly stated in my contract that you can't date anyone without my approval while you're working under me"

He politely said and looked at me with a sly grin on his face

"Is this what? some slavery contract?"

I asked

"metamorphically, yes."

He raised one eyebrow, waiting for my answer

"This is weird...."

I awkwardly chuckled

"I- I don't think this is fair...I disagree with this- actually, how many more ridiculous rules had you put in that contract? respectfully."

I asked in utter disbelief.

Like? Does he think that I've become his literal slave now that he saved me?

"Well well well I'm not your servant to re-tell you everything that was written there"

He smiled and then mumbled

"Someone should've read the contract properly before signing it"

"Oh? Oh..."

I exclaimed as I was dumbfounded by his words

"but what if I- what if I say that I disagree with some terms in that "slavery" contract or what if I say that I don't want to do this anymore?"

I asked even though I don't know why I asked such a dumb and ungrateful question.

He came closer to me, as he placed both of his strong arms on the desk in front of me, then leaned forward near my neck and whispered

"I'm sorry to break it to you but let me remind you that I AM the "boss" here"

I slowly turned my head in his direction and flinched in shock as I saw how close he was to me, to my face, to my...lips, I can feel his hot breath on me with every passing second.

"I told you in the very beginning that I'm greedy"

He wickedly smiled and took my hands,

"Let go, sir, what are you doing?!"

I exclaimed when he suddenly shoved me against his desk

"Just remember that these 2 months won't be so easy, you have to do everything that I'll tell you to do"

He whispered in my ear, as he was on top of me, pushing me harder against the desk

"I never go easy on anyone so obey me for your own good"

He said with the calmest yet the most devilish expression

I pushed him off

"What do you think you're trying to do?!"

I shouted and stomped out of there in anger,

Leaving my files, uniform, and even phone there.

He could've tried to stop me but he didn't and rather grinned at me while I left the building

That was so stupid of me to do that!

Gosh I want my phone back as soon as possible

But I don't know how to go there again after all the embarrassing things that just happened and more importantly how will I be able to face him tomorrow?

*Screams internally*

This is driving me crazy!!!

I stepped inside the elevator to go down

And walked to Aaron's car

"I've been waiting here for like 20 minutes now, what the fuck were you doing here?"

Aaron asked

"I was giving an interview"

I said in the most exhausting tone ever,

rolled my eyes as I opened the door and sat down in Aaron's car

Aaron popped his head out of the window and looked at the building one more time in disbelief

"This huge newly based corporation is hiring an unskilled person like you?"

He asked in confusion

"Excuse me? unskilled? Me? Watch your words you haughty little dude"

I said in anger

Like it's not an actual anger

Aaron and I just like to roast each other

"When was the last time you worked somewhere?"

He asked in complete cheekiness

"I mean I never worked somewhere but-"

He cut me off and said

"This proves my point"

"Sylvie you don't have any experience or knowledge of working in any field so don't tell me you're going to work as a janitor here"

He laughs at me

I gave him a dead stare

"No in actual seriousness tell me how you get in there like? this company is pretty secretive,

You know, no one in the media outlets or anywhere knows who the CEO is of this company?

And I heard that they very rarely recruit new people.

I mean if they're hiring someone like "you" then why not sign me up too"

He giggled and turned his car on

"Well I don't know about all that but I've seen the CEO, actually he's the one who interviewed me today and he's the one who offered me to work as his private secretary for 2 months"

I said, fastening my belt

"Only for 2 months?"

He asked and started driving

"Yeah"

I sighed

"And what does the CEO look like?is he some old man?"

He asked

I screech

Aaron cuts me off as I non-stop start to praise the CEO like a God

He rolled his eyes at me in sassiness

"But my question still hasn't been answered yet"

He said

I asked

"Okay, so you do know Heinrey right?"

I asked

"Why in the world would you go to that evil asshole's birthday party?"

"I can't say "no"! Aaron, you can't understand the constant fear we girls are in most of the time! I was afraid that he'll physically or sexually assault me again or worse I was afraid that he'll rape me and leave me lifeless in the middle of the road, as a matter of fact,

I said, still crying my heart out

And patted my back

He said, still sobbing

"Hey! Let's stop crying I just passed in my life for the first time today, let's leave all this and celebrate"

I said, still crying but trying to put a smile on my face

"Yes surely!"

He snorted

We drove to the restaurant near us...and I explained everything else to him there...
