              What do you mean you have fallen for him Fariya??? Have you forgotten all that has happened in the past?? Antra asked looking at me incredulously

              We are at her house and I had just told her how I feel for for James after we planned her wedding. it is going to be a simple one, a church wedding then a dinner with friends at home.

                  I can perfectly remember what's happened but I want to put that behind me. Besides when all that happened he wasn't in his right mind, he just didn't know how to handle his break-up with Maggie's mum, I said grumbling the last part

                       Now that you know he did that because of another woman,will you believe now that he is still going up on her?? I mean Fariya can't you find a guy that would love you and treat you right??? This guy in question only talks to you only if it is about Maggie, she said trying to put sense in my head

                    I know he still loves her but that doesn't mean he can't grow to love me too even if it is half as much as he loves her, I said already feeling down, Antra just brought out all I have been trying to put behind me

                   You are an adult, so I would t tell you what to do but promise me you would think this through, I don't want you getting hurt, Antra said not arguing any further. This pregnancy has managed to take her. Something we've all tied to do.

                   I have heard you, I would think this through but for now I have to get back home to prepare lunch, I said standing up

                          I can't even spend the whole day with you again??? She asked visibly displeased

                  You know I can't, Maggie would soon be home from school and I have to prepare James food for the driver, I said as I picked my bag up

                You prepare his lunch too?? She asked looking at me like am insane

                     Yea I do, now I have to go, I hugged her as I rushed out before she starts lecturing me. Sometimes I wonder if she's my friend or my mother but I love her all the same.

                Hey girl, how's the make up going, I said to the makeup artist who was making Antra up

                   We will be done in a few minutes, I just want to do some touch ups.

             Alright be quick, the ceremony would soon start.

          You guessed it right, it is Antra's wedding day and I am the best lady,while Maggie is the little bride. She's been going on and on about it and about how her dress is the prettiest which is all thanks to her favorite aunty Antra.

                   So how are feeling Antra?? I asked as she is extremely quiet today

                     I feel very nervous, I don't know how I will face all those crowd, she said gripping her hands tightly.

                  Antra, you needn't be Soo nervous, the people out there are under 100. So you will be fine, I consoled as we shared a smile

              If you say so, she said as she stood up to go out on her dress.

                   ........and I pronounce you husband and wife, the priest said as he concluded the wedding.

                  We drove back to the house where we fed our latest bride in town and let her rest before preparing for the dinner in the night.

                      Mommy!!! Maggie said crying as she entered the kitchen where we are preparing the meal for the dinner.

             What is it Maggie?? What happened to you and where is your dress?? I asked at the same time

                One boy pushed me and he said a lot of things Mommy, which boy pushed you?? There are only a handful of children here

                      He is outside, they are playing and when I wanted to join them, he wouldn't let me, she said crying

                      It okay, don't mind him, stop crying you hear, I would give you my cake from the wedding, I said trying to console her

                But he is very bad mommy, she argued

                 I know that baby but you have to stop crying, if not I wouldn't give you the cake again

                   I won't cry again, she said wiping her tears while sniffing. I guess she got a catarrh while crying

                  But where is ur dress?? And who changed you into this clothes?? I asked perplexed

                   Daddy helped me change my clothes, that one was very heavy mommy, she explained

                 Alright, that's okay, lat me go get the cake, I said as we left the kitchen to Antra's room.

           Mommy, did you and Daddy do that wedding that aunty Antra and Uncle Ben did?? Maggie asked one night as we were having dinner. I almost choked on my water while James had his spoon hanging in the air. Where did this small girl hear this type of thing from??

                      Why are you asking Maggie? And where did you hear that from???? I asked still in shock

                  Well that boy all his freinds said his parents were married and they were laughing at me when I said I don't know whether my parents are married, she said looking downcast

                   Is that what he said that made you cry??? Who are teaching those little children such things, no w I know why she was a shadow of herself since we got back from the dinner

                 Which boy are you guys talking about, and what has he got to do with this?? James asked confused

               I will tell you about him later, I said to him as I turned to Maggie. You don't have to worry about what they say, you have your parents with you and that's all that matters

                      No I want you guys to be married and I want to have brothers and sisters, all my friends have one, only me don't have any, she said raising her voice

                     Maggie!!!! your mother and I are not getting married and you better accept that. Now if you will keep quiet I have to finish dinner.

                   Maggie who had tears in her eyes stood up and left for her room. I was tempted to go after her but I needed to talk to James first.

                   Uhhmmm you shouldn't have talked to her like that,we should have just made her understand, I said talking as calmly as I can

                So what do you expect me to do, give in to her every demand?? She has to learn that she can't get all she wants, he said visibly angry but I get a feeling that it is for something else

                      It is not wrong for her to want her parents married and have siblings, we jus........

                  So are you also saying I should marry you? This is absurd Fariya, you and I both know we are here for Maggie. There are no feelings involved so why should we tie ourselves down in a loveless marraige, I am sorry but I can't be part of it, he concluded as he stood yo to his room

            To say I was hurt was an understatement, he just stood there and threw my feelings in my face unknowingly. I wiped the tears that trickled down my cheeks. I can deal with my broken heart later but I have to see Maggie now. I thought as I stood up to her room

           Opening her bedroom door, I found her asleep, I guess she cried herself to sleep, my poor baby. I guess I would just have to talk to her tomorrow.
