Chapter 5

Bidoof's POV

Oh golly! I am very worried about Riolu.

I kept wondering if i should follow him or not.

Dinner was almost ready.

Ever since he came back from the tower we we're wondering why he only arrived alone.

When he told me the reason why we we're shocked and our expressions fallen.

We we're happy that they saved the planet but oof. The Pokémon who came from the future dissapeared.

Rioli told us Eevee's final favor and the members of the guild as well as me did our best to spread their journey.

Even after many days that have passed we we're still sad about Eevee but we didn't let it show or Riolu might worry for us.

But every night Riolu was crying at his room. Loudred always scold the girls for being noisy at night but he didn't scold Riolu that night. Everyone was sobbing that night because of that one fact.

That Eevee will be no longer with us...

But as a brother figure to both Riolu and Eevee, I did my very best to make Riolu a little happy for Eevee...

When Riolu managed to bump me, he was lost in thoughts. His eyes were empty. I can really see he is still sad that he lost his partner.

Oh golly! I decided that I will follow after him.

Friends are more important than food, yupyup!

I was at my room nodding at the moment and was going to write my diary but I have decided thay I will follow Riolu so I got up from my bed and slowly made my way out but I came across Chatot who called me.

I was wondering why but Chatot told me that everyone and especially him was worried about Riolu. Chatot wanted me to atleast persuade him to dine with us this dinner. It has been many days and almost a week Riolu didn't eat with us at dinner. We sometimes see Riolu eat any food or atleast a apple.

I agreed at Chatot's plan and told me that he'll ask the others to wait for them to eat so I walked as fast as my golly legs can outside Wigglytuff's Guild and went to the beach where Riolu said he was about to go to earlier.

I was near the beach when I heard someone screamed. I was caught off guard and got anxious that maybe something happened to Riolu so i started to ran towards the beach

"Riolu!" I yell as I kept looking left and right and my view stopped at someone crying at the sand.

It was Riolu..

My heart sank at the scene.

It was obvious why he was crying.

He remembered the reason why this place was special to Riolu earlier when he caught him outside the room at night.

He was about to walk outside to take a fresh air. He was anxious and worried that they might fail on saving the world. So i voluntarily went out with him because i needed to take a walk because i was very stuffed eating my leftover food.

We slowly walked towards the beach where we just watch the moon and enjoying the sounds of the waves splashing at the shore.

It was silent and I was debating if I must start a conversation or Riolu will when Riolu speaked but still looking at the moon.

"This place is so special for me..."

"Why is it?"

I curiously asked but maybe the reason is obvious and it's because of the view. But he caught me of guard me when he answered.

"Because this was the place where I first met Eevee."

Bidoof was still shock, not because of his answer but because of his expression on his face.

I always know that Riolu treats Eevee as his little sister but there are some times I really doubt that. He looks at her more than a sister. Even his smile right now is not a look of a brother caring for her little sister but a smile of someone who really deeply cares for that person.

Love is not always the topic or always talked about at the Guild because we we're busy helping Pokémon.

'Does Riolu have feelings for Eevee?' he thought. But he rather not ask him or else it might confuse Riolu.

But right now...

Riolu kept screaming and screaming.

I walked towards Riolu and I kept patting his back and hoped maybe it can ease and calm him down but it didn't work

"B-Bidoof! It hurts! It hurts!"

My heart even sunk more at the scene. I know that he wasn't referring to my pats but because of Eevee.

I don't know what to say or what to do at that moment. So just I kept silent and kept patting him from the back.
