Chapter 32: Gunslinger

Asher directly spots a yellow-haired woman with a blindfold covering one of her eyes.

"Sahagin is indeed a troubling creature." The woman simply shook her head rapidly. "Here, take this." She quickly hands Asher a bottle of elixir.

"Uh, thank you." Asher takes the bottle and slowly recovers his condition.

The woman walks over to Chronos who is still lying on the ground and passes her elixir item to Chronos.

"What are you doing alone here?" Chronos inquires and slowly sips from the bottle of elixir. "But thanks for the help."

"I'm just trying to complete this quest, but it seems difficult by myself." The woman exhales. "I am trying to look for other parties nearby, but I just ran into you guys here."

"Hey, we want to complete the quest too." Asher snaps his fingers. "How about we work together to complete this quest?"

The woman's pupils visibly dilate at Asher's words because she never expects someone asks her to join the party.

"But, are you guys okay with it?" The woman turns her body around. "I'm just an ordinary player, not the pro player you imagine me to be." the woman bowed her head.

Chronos smiles hearing the woman's words. "We're all new to this game here, so I don't mind at all."

"Yeah, me too." Asher nods his head. "After all, you're also willing to help foreign players like us."

The yellow-haired woman turns her body around and a sweet smile keeps showing on her lips. "I'll do my best."

[Altemisia joins the party]

"I've will put your name on my friend list."

"Well, this way we can know each other." Asher nodded quickly. "Welcome to the party, Altemisia."

"Just call me Sia." The woman smiles at Asher and Chronos. "Greetings as well Asher and Chronos."

They help Persea and see the condition of the fairy who is being hunted by the sahagin. Asher immediately cast a healing spell on the injured fairy and slowly the bruises that are all over her body slowly disappeared.

"Uh, Thank you." the fairy hides her face with her wings and bows. "I will probably die like my relatives if you don't help me." Tears slowly streamed down her face. "I can't help them ." The fairy's tears broke and she continuously hit her head over and over again.

"Hey, calm down." Persea hugs the fairy. "Everything is gonna be alright., but first we need to find a safety place.."

They decide to walk back into the building and the fairy begins to speak of how the Sahagin has taken control of this place and using this place as their new lair.

"I have no idea what to do now." the fairy continues to cry and her voice sounds very weak. "I'm scared."

"Hey, calm down, we're here to help you." Persea pats the fairy's shoulder. "Trust me." She smiles widely.

Quest 14: Kill all Sahagin (required)

Recommended player level: lv.10-15

Reward: 1000 gold coins, 1x sea compass

Players must defeat all Sahagin who have taken over this place. Sahagin to kill (0/10) .

Recommended Classes: Ranger, Mechanic, and Dark Mage.

Asher accepts the quest and soon Persea asks the fairy where the Sahagin creature's lair is. The fairy said the creature's location is in the northern part of the harbor.

"There are many sahagins there." The elf cautions them all. " That thing is scary." The fairy's body starts trembling and her face instantly turns pale.

Persea feels sad to see the fairy so nervous and decides to accompany the fairy. "I'll take care of this fairy here, you guys be cautious, sahagin are powerful creatures."

During the journey to the location, Altemisia begins telling us about the reason why she is playing this game. She is intrigued by the prize money earned by selling rare items.

"You know, the price is the same as two or three times my salary as a bartender." Altemisia giggles and stroked her hair. "I'm just tired of living in a world where everything is limited."

"Well, due to this pandemic, all our movements are restricted." Chronos just sighs. "My parents' cake business has also experienced a tremendous decrease in turnover."

"Yeah, I haven't met my mother since this pandemic begins because of her job as a biotechnology scientist looking for the cure to this pandemic." Asher shook his head repeatedly.

"At least playing this game can make us forget about the pandemic."

Altemisia suddenly stops her steps and causes Asher and Chronos to turn their heads.

"Sia, what's wrong?" Asher furrowed his brows.

"There's something ahead of us." Altemisia moves her eyes and sees something. "There are two sahagins over there." Altemisia's index finger points at some building debris a few meters ahead of her.

Asher wides his eyes. "Wait, how do you know their position?"

"I have keen eyesight thanks to my subordinate skill."

"Eye of an eagle?" Chronos furrows his brows.

Altemisia nods her head. "Yes, and this skill helps me to see the enemy's position."

Chronos strokes his chin. "Quite an impressive skill."

They slowly approach the ruined building and instantly attack the two sahagins who seemed to be on guard.

"Laser light!"

Asher shoots light at the sahagin and disrupts their vision then Chronos dashes using his dash skill followed by repetitive gunshots from Altemisia.

"Cling! Cling!"

Chronos' sword hit the trident of one of the sahagin facing off until sparks burst out from Chronos' sword.

"Argh!" Chronos resists the sahagin's attack and his body begins to tremble. "Damn it! I can't hold back anymore!" The sahagin's push is getting stronger and stronger until it leaves Chronos cornered.

Asher instantly shoots light at the sahagin and makes the creature jump away from Chronos, then Altemisia fires several rapid hits at the sahagin to make it hurt.

Chronos seeing the opportunity dashed out quickly and thrust the edge of his sword into the wounded sahagin.

"Die you, bastard!"

Chronos immediately stabs the Sahagin's body and the creature dies.

Altemisia runs while firing several bullets at the sahagin trying to injure the creature until the creature's trident is unleashed, and then Asher quickly shoots the light from his staff right at the sahagin until it is roasted to death.

"Great, now we only need to kill eight more sahagin." Asher smiled happily. "Just wait bastard, we're coming to kill you."
