Christopher 'Chris' LaSalle x NCIS!Reader

You flexed your figures and rolled your wrists, you couldn't move them too much as you were bound to a chair. There was small drip of blood down your forehead, the blood cracked against your skin causing the inching sensation to worsen. Your ankle throbbed, you grimaced as your tired to move it but it stubbornly refused. You had been tripped and broken your right ankle. You were trying not to give into shock. You rolled your stiff neck, hoping that LaSalle had noticed your absence. There were footsteps outside the room you were held in, they paused before continuing on. You sighed in relief before trying to free your wrists once more. You thought back to your team at NCIS hoping that one of them noticed your absence.

The people who held you, continued to question you. Your head throbbed, you had been hit in the head with a plank of wood. The blood had long since dried but as it cracked whenver you made confused faces at your captors it itched. You couldn't really do anything about it. The questions they asked were related to your current case. You didn't tell them anything. You noticed a couple of shadows outside the window of the room that housed you. You grinned at the people in the room. "You really shouldn't have done this." Their shocked faces when the door flew open was brilliant. Chris entered the room with Pride snapping at his heels.

Chris cut your bonds and swept you into his arms. He looked furious as he took in your broken ankle and the blood on your forehead. He loaded you into the car to wait for the ambulance. The paramedic began work on your forehead and checked for a concussion while her partner checked your ankle and other paramedics checked on Chris and Pride who were sporting a flesh wound each.

Later that night you fell asleep on Chris' shoulder as the pair of you watched a few movies. Chris ran his fingers through your hair. He kissed the top of your head. He watched over you as the movie flickered through the action scenes. Chris watched over you like the hero in the movie you were no longer watching.
