Blossom looked up at Xasha with bright, unblinking eyes filled with determination and nodded.
Xasha smiled confidently after seeing her expression, then asked, "Blossom Avril Nunes. Why have you chosen the spend the rest of your days with this man and no other?"
Blossom didn't answer right away. She glanced at Xasha, back at the expectant crowd. Finally, her eyes rested on her nervously smiling bridegroom. "From that day eight years, nine months, seventeen days, ten hours and fifty-seven minutes ago." She paused. "I remember everything about that day. It was sunny. I was wearing red training gear my mother had gifted me that very morning for my first day at the academy."
