Prologue

"CATCH HER ALIVE!!!!!!!!'

A piercing voice reverberated in the dark forest, and a lady in a black hooded cloak was seen galloping with her horse vigorously through the woods.

"Did you honestly believe that I would marry her?"

"Hahahahaha"

"I seduced her, because I initially thought she might possessed her mother healing ability or perhaps her father's, yet, she's perfectly normal without any bit of affinity for magic."

His words echoed in Aelia mind continuously as tears streaming down on her face, she feel betrayed and feel ridiculous at the same time. She believed and trusted him like a fool. Although, she'd never love him, she had liked and respected him a lot as her fiance, since he was the first person who desire to marry her. However, it appeared that everything was a lies, he deceived her in a way she could never imagines.

Aelia feel her heart break into pieces from his betrayal. She feel completely, entirely drained from everything that's going in her life.

Why her?

Why?

What had she done to deserve this?

She wanted to yelled at the top of her lungs, yet she couldn't. Since her birth she'd been raised by a selfish woman whom she initially thought to be her biological mother for years until today.

Aelia felt physically and emotionally drained and exhausted from this whole situation. She is riding her horse with no destination, since she had no place to go or hide at the moment, except to confront him personally and perhaps die in his hand and be free from this torment.

"Aelia!!!"

"Please stop!!!"

Aelia instantly halted her horse and turn around to face him.

There he is, in his gallant, noble and superior demeanor riding towards her.

"Aelia!!!"

Aelia heard him shouted her name hysterically and closed her eyes, with tears streaming down on her face.

Although, it is completely dark, nevertheless, she could discern his anxiousness as he ride his horse. However, she's unsure whether it's for her well being or his fear of her uncovering his deception he's worried.

Nevertheless, her heart grows cold as she recalled his devious plan to deceives her.

As soon as he reach near her, before he could say anything, Aelia raise her hand and stop him.

"Who are my parents?" she coldly demand straightaway.

"Aelia, listen to-"

"WHO ARE MY PARENTS?" Aelia yelled and abruptly cut his words.

Aelia noticed he was silence for a moment, like he was hesitating or perhaps unwilling to let her knows the truth, he looked into her eyes and finally spoke "Your father was a prince and-"

"Aelia!!!!!!"

All of a sudden, Aelia felt her heart being pierce by a sharp thing, and instantly blood poured out from her mouth.

Aelia gazed down on her chest and her eyes widened when she saw an arrow being pierce through her chest, and blood instantly stream down from her chest immensely.

Aelia smile sadly and closed her eyes, as blood came out from her mouth. She's unsure whether she's fortunate or unfortunate to be killed in this cruel way, without an ounce of chance to survive, as her body swiftly and nimbly fall down on the ground.

"Aelia!!! I'm sorry!!!!!"

The last thing she heard was his heart wrenching voice yelling at her, before darkness surrounded her.

Aelia abruptly woke up from her bed with tears streaming down on her eyes as the nightmare dreaded and exhausted her.

She'd been having the same dreams or rather a nightmares for almost a week.

The intense feeling of emotional and physical pain when she recalled the betrayal and the thing that pierce her heart felt like it had actually happen to her.

She was feeling dubious and skeptical until a certain day, a glimpse of her worst nightmares come true, that she eventually realised she dreams her future.
