Let me think about it

The next morning, Jiang Nian woke up and looks at her phone.

It's 9 AM and today's her day off.

She went downstairs and her father is sitting there reading his newspaper. Her mom who's standing at the door talking.

"Morning dad, who is mom talking to?" Jiang Nian asks and scoops herself a bowl of congee.

Jiang Qiao Shuo closes his newspaper and angrily stares at his bowl of congee. "The guy that will steal my daughter away!"

Jiang Nian looks at her dad confusingly and eats her congee.

Heng Xiu then came in with Liang You Jin. Jiang Nian almost choked on her congee when she saw him.

"What are you doing here?" she asks with surprise.

"To come and pick you up. Don't forget why I came today," he said while looking at her.

"Nian Nian, go get ready. Don't make You Jin wait."

Jiang Nian looks at her mom. "Mom! I'm still eating, and he's the one that came early."

"That's right!" her father said while jealously reading his newspaper upside down.

Heng Xiu gives her husband a side-eye and then smiles at Liang You Jin. "You Jin, have you eaten yet? If not, come and join us."

"Ok, thank you." He went over and sat next to Jiang Nian.

Jiang Nian gives him a stare and eats her food.

"Where are you guys going to?" Heng Xiu asks.

Her father who's reading his newspaper, also got his ear up to listen.

"I got two tickets to an opera show." He takes it out and gives one to Jiang Nian.

Jiang Nian looks at it and it's one of her favorite opera groups to watch. "How did you get this?" she asks him.

He smiles at her, "I have my way."

"But isn't the opera at night?" her father asks while looking at the ticket that he took from his daughter.

Heng Xiu gives her husband a stare and takes the ticket from him. "Let the kids go out."

"Have fun!" she said smiling at both of them.

"Where are we going?" Jiang Nian asks while sitting at the passenger sits.

"You'll see when we get there."

For almost an hour, they arrived at the amusement park parking lot.

It's been so long since Jiang Nian came to an amusement park. She doesn't remember Liang You Jin like coming here before. She looks at him, "I thought you find amusement park childish."

Liang You Jin smile, "I still do. But since I broke my promise last time then this is payback. Do you like it?"

Jiang Nian nods. "What are you waiting for? Let's go!" Jiang Nian takes his hand and entered the amusement park.

Today is a Friday so there are not many people.

They went on numerous rides and Jiang Nian hasn't felt this happy since.

"Liang You Jin, I want that!" Jiang Nian points to the stuffed bear.

"Childish," but he still went up and paid. The boss gives him a toy gun and told him if he pops all the balloons then he'll get the prize.

Jiang Nian looks at him as Liang You Jin got ready.

She has never seen him this serious before.

"BAM!BAM!BAM!"

Both Jiang Nian and the boss's eyes dropped when they saw the balloon all popped.

"WOW!!!! Liang You Jin!" Jiang Nian said his name happily with joy.

The boss gives the bear to Jiang Nian. "Thank You."

"You're this good at it?" Jiang Nian asks him.

"There's still a lot of things you still don't know. Let's go eat now," Liang You Jin said.

Liang You Jin drives to a restaurant to have dinner. "You can order anything you want," he said and hands her the menu.

Jiang Nian takes the menu and ordered her favorite food.

As they waits for the food, Jiang Nian couldn't stop staring at Liang You Jin. Today she saw how handsome he was when shooting the ballons.

"I wonder how handsome you'll be when you wear your uniform?" Jiang Nian accidentally said it out loud and then couldn't look up to him.

Liang You Jin playfully smirks. "You want to see?" he asks her while looking into her eyes.

"Who wants to see!" Jiang Nian nervously drinks her water.

While driving to the opera place, Jiang Nian lays by the window and fell asleep. For the past two days, the hospital was very busy that she didn't have time to sleep.

Liang You Jin pulled over and unbuckle his seatbelt. He pulls out his jacket from the backseat and puts it over her.

The time ticked by and Liang You Jin sat in the car with Jiang Nian.

Two hours later….

Jiang Nian slowly awakes and saw that she's in the car. She realized that she fell asleep and saw the time in the car.

"The opera!" she said.

"It's too late to go now." Liang You Jin said and looks at Jiang Nian. He fixes her hair and brushed it behind her ear.

It's supposed to be a cold day, but suddenly the atmosphere became very warm.

"Let's go out for a walk." Liang You Jin said and opens the car door.

Jiang Nian followed him out and they start walking around the area.

As they are walking, Jiang Nian looked up at him and her memory flashes back to the phone call a week ago.

"Liang You Jin." She stopped walking and he looks at her.

"Why did you ask me out today? You said it's because you broke your promise. But how many promises have you broken before? You are never like this before."

"Jiang Nian. Do I need to help you refresh back your memory?" He said in a deep serious tone.

"What memory?"

Jiang Nian knows what Liang You Jin is referring to. But this time she won't be the one bringing it up.

"Jiang Nian, I like you. Will you be my girlfriend?" He said and looks into her eyes with seriousness.

Jiang Nian looks at him as if she's in a dream. After a while, Jiang Nian gives him an answer.

She smiles at him, "I gotta see about that." She starts walking away with a smile on her face.

Liang You Jin runs up to her and asks her what she meant.

"Who told you to reject me before? Now I got to think about it. I have a lot of people chasing me. You don't even know…" Before Jiang Nian could continue saying it, her mouth got shut.

Her eyes are wide open as she sees her first kiss being taken by Liang You Jin.

Liang You Jin lets go of her as his hands hold her face.

"I'm telling you, from now on no matter how many guys chase after you, I'll make sure they don't exist."

Jiang Nian looks at him. "You're jealous?" She looks into his eyes with a smile.

"Jiang Nian, I'm saying one more time. You can only be mine. I don't care how long it takes for you to be my girlfriend, I won't let go till you say yes."... "You understand me?" he asks in an orderly way.

Jiang Nian looks at him and didn't say a word.
