What are you made of?

Xue Lin's eyelashes fluttered open as her eyes scanned her surroundings, her head throbbed in pain as she tried to remember what happened, yeah, she remembered now, she was in the restroom with mia when she suddenly blacked out after hearing a slight noise in the toilet and she had wanted to check it out.

Mia, her eyes surveyed the little girl to check if she wasn't hurt and in the process, the little girl stirred awake as she started crying seeing that the surrounding was unfamiliar to her.

"Shh, stop crying now or you'll get us into trouble" Xue lin said caressing the girl hair slowly and holding her mouth in place so she wouldn't cry again.

"Aunty, where are we, I don't know this place?" Mia asked xue lin who just shook her head because she didn't know where they currently are, the stupid mistake that she did was to give yang mi her purse that contained her phone, speaking of yang mi, would she have noticed that they were gone for some time now, 'I hope so' Xue lin prayed inwardly.

"I'm hungry now" Mia said again and after that a loud growl echoed in the room.

"I'm also hungry but there's nothing to eat here" She replied, even if there was something, is there a guarantee that the food wasn't poisoned since they were brought here against their will.

"I want to go home now, I want to meet my momma, I want to eat" The girl said and xue lin facepalmed herself, this girl surely wants so many things but what could she do. She hugged the girl and started caressing her gently so as to lure her to sleep, maybe once she is asleep, she would be able to find her way out of this place.

Fortunately for her, the girl fell asleep on her bosom, xue lin carefully laid mia on the bed and she hastily went around to check if there was a way to escape the room. First she checked the window, it was locked from outside even though she thought of shattering the glass, she couldn't jump down with the kid because it was very far and she might end up being crippled.

She checked the door again and tried to open it but her efforts were futile, she scanned the room to look for any sharp objects that she could use but the room was just empty, except the bed, cupboard and wardrobe even the cupboard were empty, what to do now? xue lin asked herself.

She tried calling for help and banging the door with her hands but no one came to her rescue, she didn't relent instead she kept banging the door until it shattered into peices unknown to her, her powers were unleashed that made the door shatter into pieces, the question was how did the power unleash from her, was it because she was in danger?

"Good" she mummured inwardly as she ran over to the bed to get mia who was still asleep, carrying the little girl she hastily ran over the shattered door. She kept her eyes wide open for an exit without anybody knowing. Soon she saw it and then ran towards the door but she wasn't quick enough because, two men already blocked the door.

She screeched to a halt when she heard a voice, a familiar voice and she knew who the voice belongs to, Darren.

"Where do you think you are going?" He asked amused, didn't the guys tell him now that they had locked her in a room, how did she get out?

"I'm going home, you think you can keep me here?" She finally found her voice after some seconds of being incoherent.

"You wanna go home? try getting pass the door if you can" He said in a mocking tone, he clearly knew that the girl wouldn't be able to get pass the two huge guys at the entrance.

"By the way how did you get out?, Luo Yan, go check the room" Darren ordered one of his body guards who nodded and left to check the room.

When he got to the room, he was astounded, no he was dumbfounded, there wasn't an axe in this room so how did it shatter into pieces, what did the lady do to the door, it was even beyond damage, no one could mend it back even if they tried to.

He went back to report to his boss, Darren creased his forehead when he heard the nonsense the man was spouting, how could she do it? how dare she break his door which cost millions to install it. He went to confirm for himself what his bodyguard had reported and when he saw it for himself, he was rendered speechless, he didn't even know whether to get angry or what he should do to the lady.

He went back to the lady and stared at her, as if scrutinizing her with his gaze, what did she use to break the door because clearly an axe couldn't do it neatly like that, there wasn't even an axe in the room urgh!!

"What are you made of?" Darren asked the girl in his front, how could she break his door like that, what did she use and how did she do it?.

"I'm made of what you are made of, so now release me quick because if my husband finds out, you wouldn't like what he would do to you" Xue lin threatened, she was even surprised that she was making a threat in a place where she was at a disadvantage here, but what could she do? she couldn't stay here and wait for her husband to return after a week!.

"So demanding, I like that, but you are under my hostage now, I can do whatever I like to you... you make me laugh xue lin, you think your husband can come save you, he doesn't even like you, does he?" asked Darren mockingly, the woman was getting ahead of herself, he knew his brother, he doesn't care about anything or anyone in the world but himself.

"He does and he cares about me, you have to release me if you don't want to incur his wrath!" Xue lin said almost yelling at him, just then they heard a bang and when her gaze shifted to look at the door, the two guys were covered in a pool of blood and Aaron was standing there, his clothes were wet and he was holding a gun in his hand.

What? how did he arrive this quick!

Her husband was so cool standing there, dripping with water and holding a gun in his hand, his eyes were clouded with bloodlust as he scanned the room then he slowly walked towards Xue lin. Meanwhile, Darren had fled, he didn't want Aaron to see him, not yet, so he quickly ran away using the helicopter in his yard.
