Fever

Xue lin got to their room and glanced around only to see that Aaron had wrapped himself in the duvet, she could see him trembling slightly so she immediately ran over to him... She knelt on the bed as she placed her hand on his forehead, he was burning hot, it was like his body was dipped in boiling water.

"Oh my Aaron, you have a fever" She said panicking as she gazed at him wide-eyed, he looked like he wanted to say something so she leaned in to hear what he has to say.

Her hair fell on his nose and he subconsciously sneezed thrice, Xue lin looked at him with creased forehead, was that what Aaron wanted to do? to sneeze in her ear? she got up from the bed and walked towards the door.

Aaron didn't know that this was how it felt to be annoyed, he was always annoyed at people and now that his wife was annoyed with him, he felt strange. He was about to say sorry because he knew what he did wasn't proper but she had left before he could open his mouth.

Soon she returned with a bowl of water and a piece of cloth. she sat beside him and dipped the cloth in the water after some time, she squeezed the water out of the cloth and gently dabbed his face. Aaron looked stupefied, wasn't she annoyed with him why was she now acting like a sweet caring wife to him...

She repeated her actions several times and he could feel his heart swelling in happiness as he watched her care for him, what a sweet dainty wife he married.

After she was done, she told him to sit up and have his congee because luckily the cook had prepared it in case there was anyone who caught cold because of the rain so she had brought it with her and some pills he could take.

"It's hot" He complained with pouted lips that xue lin thought she was hallucinating things, who could have thought that he would behave like a baby when he's in this situation?

"You want me to blow it?" She asked and he nodded simply.

"And feed me" He completed her statement and she shook her head at his shamelessness, so he cannot eat by himself when he's sick, he needs someone to feed him, take note xue Lin, she said to herself, Aaron was now slowly opening up to her which she appreciated because she wanted to know him better, she felt that this marriage was based on responsibility and not love so she made up her mind to make her marriage work.

She scooped the congee in the spoon and gently blew air on it, she then lifted her hand towards his mouth and stared into his eyes, she felt his mouth opening and he emptied the congee in the spoon, she fed him another and then another, he wasn't saying anything but just gazing into her eyes as he ate the congee in the plate.

The congee had reached half when Aaron pulled her closer so she could sit on his laps, she was so close to him now that the only thing separating their bodies from touching was the plate in her hands. His hands were still on her waist and his gaze locked on hers as if he wanted something other than her feeding him his medicine.

"W-what are you doing?" She asked stuttering, the guy didn't answer but just kept gazing at her, his gaze was now fixated on her slightly opened lips and he wanted so badly to kiss her lips but he was afraid of transferring his fever to her...

"Continue" He replied curtly and she nodded, she was about to feed him the congee when her hands mistakenly shook and ended up spilling it on his chest. Unknown to her, it was Aaron who caused it.

"I'm sorry, let me clean it, I'm sorry" she apologized to him again for the third time today and he was annoyed hearing that word from her.

"It's alright xue lin,it's nothing, you just need to clean it" He said, his lips curved up into a devilish smile.

"Right, let me go so I can look for a rag to clean it" She suggested but his arms on her waist tightened as if he doesn't want to release her, as of he doesn't want her out of sight.

"How am I supposed to clean it when you are being like this?" She asked him, it was more like scolding him as she struggled to get free from his arms, she slowly reached out her hands to drop the plate on the table so she wouldn't pour everything on his body and end up burning his delicate skin.

"Your tongue should be useful" He spoke near her ear, his breath was now fanning her face and she could feel her body warming up as heat slowly crept through her body, she knew she would be reddish in color by now.

"You scared? you don't want to do it?" He asked her raising his eyebrows as if daring her, she shook her head and slowly poked her tongue out, she ran it over his chest where the congee had spilled. Aaron was completely speechless he became hard at once, how could she make him feel this way. Everything she did had an effect on his body.

"It's done" she said to him as she picked the plate again to start feeding him, the next thing he said made her stare at him wide eyed, was it truly Aaron speaking or was he possessed.

"I want you to feed me using your mouth" He said and xue lin coughed several times, she could feel her cheeks burning now, why was this guy good in talking dirty, he truly needs to be given an award.

"W-Why? isn't this enough?" She asked him and he shook his head and made a puppy eyes at her that made it hard for her to

refuse him, oh my husband, what have you become? she asked herself.

"Alright" she said grumbling as she ate the congee, she slowly moved closer to him until her lips touched his, he opened his mouth inviting her in and she opened hers too as she poured the congee into his mouth she quickly moved away from him after she did that. Aaron smiled at her as he swallowed it and licked his lips.
