Chapter 9 - Breakfast Embarrassment

I was still asleep however I was awake enough to know I could feel myself still in George's arms. I loved it! I heard distant footsteps coming towards us.

"What do we have here?" I heard someone say quietly. I didn't care. George didn't move at all. His arms were wrapped around my body with me on top of him. He felt so warm, it gave me a tingly feeling inside.

"GEORGE WEASLEY!" We both woke up in shock. I had fallen off the couch. My cheeks went bright red, I had to cover my face. I was so embarrassed. As for George, you could see he was in an unconformable position but he managed to give me a small smile.

"George can I speak to you for a moment please!" Mrs. Weasley said. The others started to laugh.

"So Y/N, what was that all about? Care to tell us" Fred said smirking.

I just kept my head down and headed up stairs to get changed.

"God I'm so embarrassed! What was I thinking." I asked myself shaking my head. I went to Ginny's rooms to calm myself down.

Tears started running down my face. It's not that what happened upset me but I was just too embarrassed to face them. Especially Mr. and Mrs. Weasley.

They won't see me the same. I just know it. I buried my face into the pillow next to me and let out a small scream.

"George, care to tell me what was going on there?" Mrs. Weasley asked.

"It was nothing! We couldn't sleep last night and Y/N came down for some water." George replied.

"And...." Mrs. Weasley asked.

"And, we talked for a bit then happened to fall asleep on the couch" George finished.

"Nothing else happened? George you're too young..." Mrs. Weasley started saying, looking concerned.

"NO IT DIDN'T OKAY! Just drop it will ya" George announced getting agitated. Mrs. Weasley looked at him then just walked away.

"Wait where's Y/N?" George asked his brother.

"Up stairs I think" Fred replied. He looked confused. As George was coming up the stairs I was coming out of Ginny's room.

"Y/N are you okay? I'm so sorry..." he started saying.

"It's fine George don't worry about it." I said looking down at the floor. I knew how I felt about George but I just couldn't face him at the moment.

"Y/N look at me...please" George said. I looked up at him and he looked sad. His eyes getting watery. I guess I wasn't the only one who was embarrassed this morning.

"George are you okay?" I asked sounding concerned. He took my hand and led me too his room. He laid on his bed for a while, with me sitting beside him. I wasn't going to rush him to speak but after a while I was curious.

"George what's wrong? Tell me please" I said.

"It's just...I don't know if my parents will let you come back on our next break." George replied.

"But...we just slept on the couch together. We didn't do anything" I said.

"I mean why would be right" I quickly added. I still didn't exactly know if he felt the same way as me. We'd been friend for a long time but that didn't mean he liked me.

"Y/N I don't know. But what I do know is that school is approaching soon and we won't have any bothers" I looked up at him and smiled.

"We'll manage George!

I'm sorry though I feel really bad!" I stated. We gave each other a hug and headed off down stairs.

"George we have to just pretend like nothing happened okay. If we don't bring it up it won't come up" I continued.

He nodded in agreement. We both sat down and Fred gave George a smirk. I didn't want to look at anyone, especially Mrs. Weasley.

She's one of the kindest people you'd ever want to meet. But when she's mad, it's like she's a whole new person.

"So Ginny, you're starting your first year in two week. You excited?" I asked trying to break the silence.

"Very excited Y/N! I can't wait to hang out with you at school too!" she said smiling.

"We'll take good care of you" George added.

Today Mr. and Mrs. Weasley were headed off to Diagon Ally with Ginny to buy her some new supplies for school. Ron was catching up with Hermione and Harry there too. The Dynamic Trio.

They're so fun to hang out with. I was thinking about going with Ron today just to take my mind of what had happened this morning but I already had plans with the twins.

Fred, George and I were heading off to school in Arthur's car to set up some of their pranks around the school. Ginny and Ron went to kiss their parents goodbye for the day! Fred did the same afterwards.

George went to, but then turned away. Seeing his mother still made him mad. As he walked out the door I followed behind him and he gave his father a wave goodbye.

George got in the driver's seat and Fred next to him. I sat in the back. The whole trip was in pure silence. It was a good thing that it only took a couple of minutes to get there.
