William left as soon as the rain stopped.

I also cleaned up the cutlery and went upstairs with the bouquet.

I'd been playing the entire day, and it was almost midnight. I was slightly tired. I arranged the flowers in a vase, took my pajamas, and headed to the shower.

I felt comfortable after taking a shower. However, the sound of something breaking suddenly came over.

"Who is it?"

My heart skipped a bit, and I brazenly opened the bathroom door.

Apart from the fragments of the vase and the faint light the flowing water reflected, nothing was in the room.

A trace of coldness appeared in my heart. I subconsciously wanted to find some weapons, but the only suitable item I found was a belt after feeling around for some time.

My fear was amplified little by little, and I started panicking. I turned around but didn't see anyone. I then walked downstairs and found that the kitchen door was open. The cutlery inside was also broken.
