"Z!" I stiffen, distracted by the sound of Alanna's voice as she walks into the balcony, looking exhausted.
I part my lips to tell her that she shouldn't be here but unknown to me, Lochan had blocked my magic and just when I realize it, it is too late. With a yell, Lochan redirects my magic and sends it towards Alanna. It happens so quickly, I barely get the chance to process it. Alanna lets out a choked gasp and coughs up blood. Then, she crumples to the ground, her face contorted with pain. Blinded by rage, this time when I attack Lochan I don't hold back. He lets out a scream and sinks to his knees as he chokes on his own blood. He falls to the ground as every bone in his body gets broken by my raging magic.
