Declarations of the Lightning Lord

Eventually, the morning sun broke through the bustling, celebratory night.

More than half of the city was finally able to sleep safely and soundly with the war over. As for the rest of the citizens, they hardly slept at all. They were too busy basking in the city's spontaneous festivities after the triumphant return of their Lightning Lord.

But regardless of how much sleep they had, everyone capable marched to the city's center by morning. It was packed to the brim with crowds swarming the Guard Royale fighting stage.

Only, no one stood atop the stage.

Where the contestant tent used to be, there was a small, white platform. On one end, Captain Feerah and Captain Ribard stood at attention. The other end attracted even more eyes, with Elder Aagon and Elder Onark standing in their ceremonial whites and blue robes.

Sitting in the front row was Jash. He ignored the heavy bags under his eyes to keep his focus sharp.
