Gray recognized the face, despite its demonic form, unmistakably the ferryman.

The ferryman interjected, "Just a stab to the chest. Demons are resilient, but everyone mistook them for humans. It's a tragedy, which is why I had to leave the island alone."

Lucy thought to herself, Of course we would! The entire village is teeming with demons, it's terrifying.

After the ferryman finished explaining, the village chief and his son reunited, the curse lifted, and the village erupted into celebration with feasting and revelry.

Though the appearance of demons may be unsettling, several among them sensed that fundamentally, these demons were not much different from humans, aside from their outward form.

Gray grumbled, "You're the only one profiting, and you didn't even help."

Despite his defeat against Lyon, it was still a battle. "Happy" assisted Natsu against the other three opponents, while Lucy merely tagged along without contributing.

Lucy hummed softly, feigning ignorance to the conversation.

"Happy," said, "sell the keys."

Lucy's eyes widened in surprise. "What did you say? You thieving cat!"

"As I've mentioned before, there are only 12 keys to the zodiac signs in this world, and they are exceedingly precious."

Natsu turned his head, his expression skeptical. "The cow and the maid?"

As teammates, Natsu and Happy had witnessed the Celestial Spirits of the Zodiac summoned by Lucy. Their strength left much to be desired.

Gritting her teeth, Lucy retorted, "With enough practice, my Celestial Spirits will surpass you!"

"Then I'll be waiting!"

"Just you wait!"

They strolled towards the guild, engaged in banter.

Those they passed on the road couldn't help but avoid them, murmuring softly as they hid. Kyros furrowed his brows, sensing an ominous aura.

Upon arriving at the Fairy Tail guild, they were greeted with a scene of chaos.

"What's going on... The guild looks different..."

"Huh? What... what happened?"

"This is... our guild..."

The Fairy Tail guild lay in ruins, its signboard shattered and thick iron pillars piercing through its structure.

Suddenly, the ground of Magnolia Town trembled.

A voice, seething with anger, rang out, "Who's responsible for this?"
