CHAPTER 1: Death

"Shit," muttered a young man as he silently surrendered his fate to the impending death that he had wished silently for countless nights.

He lost his parents in the accidents, as well as many other things. His entire body was burned, and his face was so distorted that being called ugly was considered a compliment.

He failed miserably in adulthood, and his ugly appearance caused numerous difficulties in his daily lives, leading to too many suicides. He was ashamed of himself, and he just wanted to end everything. He just wanted to have fun, but his personalities would not let him, and he punished himself just as harshly as the god did.

" Good. Now! I'm free " He said his final words as the truck crushed his body and he rested in peace.

" Where am I ? " A small childish voice echoed in the room as he slowly opened his eyes and looked around.

" ..... Son... You are finally woke up. " A woman said in a sobbing voice as she hugged his body tightly while crying.

" Stop! He is fine. You're overreacting. " A manly voice echoed in the room but he also had tears.

" Both of you are overreacting. It is simply a mana or ethernano depletion symptom. You don't need to worry at all. " This time, an elderly man spoke in an exhausted tone and bonked both of them with a staff.

" It looks like he has potential to become a wizard because his magic power already surpassed me at this age and it made me quite exhausted. " an elderly man said with a smile as gently patted his head.

' Didn't I die ? '

' Where am I ? '

' Where is this place ? '

His entire mind was filled with countless thoughts, but a very warm atmosphere surrounded him, and he felt a warmth he had never felt before, which made his negative thoughts fade away.

" .... " Suddenly, tears streamed from his eyes as a woman and a man hugged him with a smile, and the room was filled with love.

A month later

A young boy stood up with a smile and he immediately run toward showers , started his a new day.

" Let's start a new day. " He smiled happily as he brushed his teeth while looking at mirror.

The mirror reflected a face of young boy around 10 years with a chubby face and a little bit short for 10 years old. His skin was flawless without a single scar and his pale skin looked brilliant , he had blue hair with black eyes. His new name was Ray Redson, the son of Riley Redson.

He already got back memories of Ray's and it was nothing special. His parents were farmers and own a small cotton farms , both of them were normal people.

" Da...da ... Da da... " Ray brushed his teeth while singing a song that came to his head and he finished quickly , sat down on the bed while holding a old book.

' So I can confirm this is the world of Fairy Tail. ' Ray smiled as he read a magazine about Fiore Country, where Fairy Tail Guild was at the top. It was an old magazine, but Fairy Tail's reputation was well-known in Fiore Country, but he lived in another country so it took nearly two weeks just to buy a very old magazine.

He lived in a country called Bosco, which was bordered by Fiore, but the countries were too large and the transportation system was poor in comparison to his previous world, so it would take months to get to Fiore.

' Sigh! I must become fairy Tail guild member. ' Ray threw his hand in the air and he came to this world so he must become Fairy Tail's member. Fairy Tail was one of his favorite animes, so he knew a lot about the plot and the characters.

' There is no information about any characters of Fairy Tail other than Markarov so I can guess timelines. ' Ray smiled as he dropped a magazine . He focused on the old book.

He discovered it under the bed after regaining the memory, and he had no idea how Ray's old memories had led him to this book. So he decided to take it as a gift from the god.

' Definitely ! This is not a normal magic book. ' Ray could read the content of the magic book, and once he learned some of it, it vanished completely and became blank paper.

' Probably , this is a lost magic. ' Ray could only assume. He had spent two weeks and only learned one paper. The first paper introduced the magic and explained how it worked.

'As far as I recall, there are two main types of magic: holder and caster. However, Lost Magic is a different subcategory. I have already hit the jackpot with this magic.' Ray muttered as he closed his eyes and meditated to train his magic, which he had begun doing two weeks ago. He learned this technique from anime while Capricorn was teaching Lucy, and it was quite effective.

After mediating for a 5 minutes , his whole body was covered with sweat and he lied on his bed while groaning with a little bit of pain.

' Let's do this. ' Ray braved himself and he sat down on his bed with exhausted body and he foscued on light bud which used magic power to light up. He family was kinda rich so they were able to afford it .

" By unseen might ,I claim the due , by ancient might "

" Shadow Embrace Magic : Steal "

Ray chanted the incantation with his tiny magical power that he left, and the black magic circle appeared as his spell absorbed the magic power from the light bulb and entered his body, causing the light bulb to break loudly.

" Yeah! It works. Finally... " Ray felt a little bit energetic after getting some of the magic power back as he danced on the bed with a big smile.

His magic journey started from now on.
