Chapter 186: Preparations for the Games! (1)
~Third POV~
Macao soon explained to the group once Natsu was conscious again of what the Grand Magic Games were all about getting the Key Members' attention, "Yeah with everyone here we can finally do the Grand Magic Games. The Grand Magic Games is an annual competition held to determine the strongest guild in Fiore."
Natsu perked up listening to this responding interested tone, "Oh! To determine the strongest huh?"
Macao nodded as Romeo pointed out in an excited tone to his idol, "Yeah! A few years back the King decided this event to prove who's the strongest guild in Fiore!"
The key members showed some interest in the Grand Magic Games event as Silva pointed out with a happy grin, "Yup! From what I hear the event is held in Fiore, where participating guilds compete for the title of being the strongest Magic guild in all of Fiore. Additionally, the winning guild gets a 30,000,000 Jewel prize."
Mira then asked in a curious tone realizing something with a confused expression, "Wait does that mean Fairy Tail isn't in the top guild then?"
Bisca replied to Mirajane's question scratching her head nervously admitting the truth and throwing Silva under the bus, "Pretty much yeah… over the year the new top strongest guild would be Sabertooth Guild. If only Mister Strongest decided to join that wouldn't be the case."
All eyes dart towards Silva with a raised eyebrow wanting his response as he shrugs his shoulders giving his reason why, "What? When I heard about the games I wanted where everyone would enjoy it for the first time when you guys returned. Didn't feel right at the time and I would prefer to experience it in my original body than in my replica."
Some nodded in agreement as Kagura leaned on the wall closing her eyes with Simon next to her commenting about the results if Silva participated in a stern tone, "Tch. If Silva ever participated then becoming number 1 in Fiore won't be much of a difficulty but don't, you'll easily earn your victory."
Lyon also interjects his voice in confidence winning this year's Grand Magic Games against them showing his Ice Make Magic, "Perhaps but then again it could be Lamia Scale that could win this year Kagura. Besides, only one man can't win the whole game and the rest of the key members of Fairy Tail have a 7-year time gap."
Sparks could be seen flying between Lyon and Kagura as Silva smirked seeing this off-handedly earning their ire he spoke to provoke them, "True but unless you can get past my <Infinity > it's an instant win for me… unless your fucking Natsu."
Silva said the last part giving Natsu the stink eye to which he smugly grins getting under his skin for a comical event.
Listening to the news Makarov interjected to joining the guild for the Grand Magic Games excitedly not leaving any challenges unprovoked, "Hmph! In that case will take you all on you brats! Don't think this would be easy for we won't back down!"
"Yeah!!!"
The key members hyped themselves up as Silva smiled missing the group interaction like this Erza soon pointed out curiously getting everyone's attention on Silva on an important question, "In that case, Silva care to explain how Natsu managed to hit you passing your <Infinity > and what even is it since we couldn't sense any Magic Power."
Once those words were spoken the rest eyed Silva curiously pausing before he finally responded cryptically much to others' confusion except for Laxus, Erza, and Mira eyes widening, "Hmm… to be frank you could say the Mana Method is the path closer to True Magic or so I heard. As for <Infinity > it's a Spirit Arts a different fighting style I learned over the past 5 years. Happy?"
That only confused the people except for Laxus, Mira, and Erza thought at the same time shocked, 'Wait… you mean using the Mana Method is the key to the One True Magic that Hades was talking about?!'
Keeping it to themselves they remained silent pondering the implication of his words as everyone was left confused or dissatisfied by his answer for their reasons.
Everyone except for Levy and Natsu the two who could use the One True Magic or the Ultimate Magic understood what it meant and thought on the subject for a bit.
For now, though Natsu felt pumped raising his fist into the air feeling excited, "Heck yeah! If entering the Magic Games would prove where number 1 then it's time for some training! Come on Happy!"
Happy saluted rushing out of the guild happily, "Aye sir!"
*Voooom*
Running out of the Guild surprised the rest of the members felt the same way as they needed to train to catch up to everyone for the past 7 years they missed.
Everyone pumped up and began to prepare only for Ultear to stop them and speak privately explaining what they discovered during the past 7 years that Wizards have a second origin within them as she could help unlock them.
Surprised they accepted and then used that time to train as Ultear would meet up with them again to unlock Natsu's Second Origin assisting them with everyone finishing up a meeting with everyone catching up.
Silva's eyes laid on the group for their time missing enjoying the atmosphere he missed for the past 7 years seeing he needs to grind as well to make up for lost time.
With things going as they are Silva reviewed his stats and began to place them accordingly preparing himself for the next 3 months of training for the Grand Magic Games with a smirk on his face preparing himself.
Observing his stats he began to place them where he'd them the most for the upcoming event after dealing with the Grand Magic Games are Future Rogue and Dragons to come confident he could take them on.
Yet the earlier event that Natsu managed to bypass his <Infinity > gave him time to reconsider what else he needs to improve in a passive tone, "Still can't believe he managed to land a hit on me… well. I suppose I should up my game the next time we meet but also deal with one more future issue in the process."
Thoughts of the future issue be the Tartarus Guild came to his mind since it would be easy enough to deal with them but also issues with the Magic Council with their current members passed his mind with consideration.
Shaking his head for now he was busy focusing on what to do with his 121 bonus stats and began adding them accordingly to what he believed at the time was vital.
Adjusting with his stats he hummed satisfied by the results.

Giving the appropriate evenly distribution Silva felt the increase of his strength clenching his fist trembling in excitement responded, "Time for me to enter the big games now. I'm gonna shock the Magic World once more."
Then came Mavis's voice interjecting to Silva's words surprising him turning around to see her corporal Thought Projection form floating next to him cheerfully, "And you think you'll leave me out this? No way my student I'm seeing this with you thick and thin Silva. Hope you don't mind me tagging along like usual?"
Silva laughed nodding allowing Mavis to come with him as he put both hands behinds his head agreeing, "Haha! Wouldn't have it any other way old friend. At least I won't have to hide you emergency food."
She pouted at Silva calling her emergency food but they both laughed it off connecting after long years apart.

On the Great Plains in a site that was used for a bandit hideout a person with the Sabertooth Guild emblem on his shoulder talked to his partner in a curious tone, "I hear their back."
Turning his back towards his partner with his black cape flapping by the wind responded in a neutral tone, "What are you talking about Sting?"
The man known as Sting Eucliffe a Guild Member of the Sabertooth Guild, and part of the Twin Dragons of Sabertooth responded excitedly, "The main members of Fairy Tail who were lost 7 years ago, Rogue."
The man identified as Rogue Cheney a Mage of Sabertooth, currently of the strongest Guild in Fiore, and a member of its team of The Twin Dragons of Sabertooth responded in a cold tone, "Not interested."
Turning his head around Sting tried to get to his partner's interest remaining confident of the news, "Don't lie to me, Rogue!"
Rogue merely replied to Sting remaining in a cold tone observing the battle scene of their handy work destroying the bandit's base, "You always talk about how much you admire Natsu Sting."
Sting responded in a happy tone making hand motions of how tall they were as kids, "That's ancient history. It takes you, back doesn't. I mean 7 years ago we were barely this tall. Oh, yeah! You were more of a Gajeel guy, huh? Gajeel was pretty scary?"
Rogue however retorted Sting's claims in a neutral tone gazing at their request work, "Don't dredge up the past, Sting. The path we're on didn't lead to them."
*Voooom*
Suddenly a soldier carrying a bow and arrow attacked the group but was shocked seeing Sting devour the white arrowhead as shock was written on his face muttering in fear, "S-So it was them…. The… Twin Dragon Slayers of Sabertooth…. Sting the White Dragon, and Rogue the Shadow Dragon!!! The Dragon Slayer Duo!!!"
Turning around fleeing for his life Sting commented in a dissatisfied tone leaving his comrades behind, "Are you going to just abandon your comrades? You really are scum."
Soon enough their Exceed partners Frosch and Lecter appeared once their friends managed to clean up the bandits.
They happily commented to each other their work as Rogue made small talk about the Fairy Tail resident Trickster in a curious tone, "Perhaps we've grown stronger than Gajeel and Natsu but what about the Fairy Tail Trickster? A year ago, he completed the most difficult quest Dragon Extermination without any Dragon Slayer Magic. What do you think of him joining this year's Grand Magic Games?"
Sting raises his eyebrow while placing his hand over his chin thinking about the hot topic a year ago for contender of Fiore's strongest Mage in a curious tone, "Hmm… kind of hard to say. But that no-show coward hasn't bothered to enter the games himself even once why would this time be any different? And besides we killed our dragons if he killed 5 will slay 10 of them!"
Shaking his head Rogue dropped the subject beginning to complete their job report.
