Chapter 2: Guild - Fairy Tail

Train Station, Onibus City.

[Notice to all Onibus Station train passengers. The train heading to Magnolia City will arrive in five minutes. It is hoped that passengers who already have tickets will prepare themselves and their luggage.]

The announcement was repeated twice. Passengers who currently have tickets are starting to prepare themselves along with their luggage. One of the passengers who was leaving for Magnolia City was a person wearing a black robe. The person appears to be holding a train ticket to Magnolia City in his right hand. He looked very calm waiting for the train which would soon arrive.

The sound of a train siren suddenly echoed in the train station. A train will soon arrive at the station. The train slowly started to slow down and finally stopped right at the stop. The passengers on the train started to get off one by one. Meanwhile, the passengers who were going to board the train were all still waiting calmly until all the passengers on the train got off.

The time for passengers to board the train finally arrived. The passengers immediately walked into the train and then took their respective places. The figure wearing a black robe also entered the train. The train carriage entered by the figure wearing a black robe is a train gate specifically for executive ticket holders.

Every passenger holding an executive ticket will get their own cabin on the train. The figure wearing a black robe quickly found his own cabin with the help of an employee on duty in the train carriage. He immediately entered the cabin then locked the door.

He then immediately removed the top cover of the robe he was wearing. When the top cover of the robe was removed, the appearance of the figure could be seen at this moment. The figure has a cute appearance. He has short white hair. His skin is white followed by purple eye pupils. He has neatly groomed eyebrows and long eyelashes.

The name of this figure is Allen

He immediately took a place on the sofa which was close to the cabin window. He suddenly took a deep breath as his gaze looked outside the cabin, "Third chance, huh?"

Allen's gaze shows a melancholy touch. He still finds it hard to believe that he got a third chance to live a life.

The train siren suddenly echoed again. The appearance of the siren indicates that the train will soon move. The train entrance was immediately locked by employees. The passengers calmly sat in their respective seats. The train slowly started to move again and the speed increased over time.

The carriage quickly headed towards Magnolia City.

In fact, Allen had an ability that allowed him to get to Magnolia City very quickly. With such abundant magical energy reserves, it was very easy for him to do such things. However, Allen refused to do anything of the sort. Such actions would only diminish the sense of adventure that he wanted to undertake. Apart from that, using the train also has its own advantages. He could enjoy the view of this world more closely.

The fragrant aroma of food suddenly wafted from inside the cabin used by Allen. The aroma came from the food which was currently right in front of Allen. The food was food that Allen had previously bought at a restaurant close to the Onibus station. Although the taste of the food made by that restaurant was still inferior to the dishes made by him. Allen didn't really care because he ate just for fun and to fill his stomach.

The distance between Onibus City and Magnolia City was not very far. It only takes two hours by train to reach your destination. The two-hour train journey provided Allen with many interesting experiences. He saw many unique things that existed in his new world today.

Magnolia City

Magnolia City is one of the cities in the Kingdom of Fiore. Magnolia City is in the southern region of the Kingdom of Fiore and is one of the most famous cities in the Kingdom. This city became famous because of the existence of a Wizards Guild. Almost every city occupied by the Wizarding Guild is a famous city. This is because living in a city that has a Wizard Guild will have higher security than living in a city that does not have a Wizard Guild.

The Mage Guild in this city is the Guild - Fairy Tail.

Guild – Fairy Tail is a guild that was founded more than 100 years ago. This guild could be said to be one of the strongest guilds because of the existence of two people, each of whom had strength equivalent to a Holy Mage. The Holy Wizards were an organization under the Wizard Council. This organization consists of magicians who have status, merit and power on the Isghar Continent. There are only ten people who can join this organization.

Every wizard who joins this organization has their status and strength determined by the rank they have. The higher the rank they had, the greater the status, power, and benefits they could gain. This is also what causes many wizards to want to join this organization. However, it is not that easy to join this organization.

Guild – Fairy Tail is in the heart of Magnolia City. The building used by this guild as a base of operations is an old building that almost looks like a tavern or maybe a bar. Actually, a guild can also be said to be a bar. This is because the guild always provides a place for people to drink and have fun. The Guild can also be said to be a restaurant because it provides a place to eat. The guild can also be said to be a gathering place because the guild is a gathering place for magicians to get work.

The atmosphere of the Fairy Tail guild is the same as usual days. Every wizard who joins the guild gathers and then has fun together. Some were drinking, some were dancing, some were gossiping, some were talking about work problems, some were talking about training problems, and various other activities.

At the back of the guild building. Two men were seen sitting relaxed. These two men are the figures who are the support of this guild.

Makarov Drayer is an old man who is around 70 years old. He had a small body and wheat-colored skin. Even though he is relatively old, he has the spirit of a young person. Makarov is one of the fifth ranked Holy Wizards. Apart from his identity as a Wizard Saint, Makarov also serves as Guild Master – Fairy Tail.

Meanwhile, the man who was currently sitting drinking with him was Gildarts Clive.

Gildarts Clive is a man in his 30s. He has a tall build with wheat-colored skin. His brown hair is combed neatly back. He had a growing beard but it wasn't very long. Even though Gildarts was not a Holy Wizard. He had strength equal to them. Gildarts is currently the only S class Mage in the Guild – Fairy Tail.

An S class wizard is a wizard who is at a higher level than ordinary wizards who join the guild. These types of mages usually had very strong powers to the point that they could be equal to ten thousand or more troops possessed by a power.

"How long do you plan to stay?"

Gildarts smiled at the question Makarov asked him, "One week. After that, I plan to take up the task again."

Makarov sighed at the narrative, "Could you stay a little longer?"

"Hahaha~" Gildarts laughed at this, "You know my personality. I really love adventure. It is very difficult for me to stay for a long time."

"With this kind of personality of yours. It would be difficult for me to inherit the position of Guild Master to you."

"Please don't make strange jokes, Master," Gildarts said casually, "I am not someone suitable to inherit the position. You're not old either. You still have a lot of time to look after this place. There will definitely appear someone who can inherit this position even better than me. Maybe…Laxus? He has the potential to inherit the position you currently occupy."

Makarov immediately drank the drink he had.

Suddenly Makarov and Gildarts saw the child's gaze looking at them. The boy slowly walked into the guild until he was stopped by a female servant of the guild.

"Welcome to the Fairy Tail Guild! Is there anything I can help you with?"

"I want to join a guild"

"Join a guild?"

"Oh?" Gildarts immediately smiled meaningfully, "It seems I won. That kid really wants to join us."

The employee who stopped the child immediately took the child towards Makarov and Gildarts.

"Master, someone wants to join our guild"

"I have heard it"

The employee immediately bowed and then went to continue her work.

"Nice to meet you, my child" Makarov said while smiling sincerely at him, "Makarov Drayer, Guild Master of Fairy Tail. What's your name?"

"Nice to meet you, Master." Allen replied politely, "I'm Allen"

"Just Allen? Your surname?"

Makarov and Gildarts looked at him with confused looks. Allen shook his head, "I don't have a last name"

"Don't have a last name?" Makarov frowned, "Are you from an orphanage?"

"No," Allen shook his head, "I'm not from that place. I was previously adopted by a grandfather. It's just that, now the person who adopted me is no longer there. He also has no surname. Only this name was given to me."

"I see" Makarov sighed a little sadly at the thought. He then immediately changed the topic between them, "I previously heard that you wanted to join our guild. Before that, do you know the requirements for joining a guild?"

Allen thought for a moment then said, "Can you use magic?"

"Sure" Makarov nodded and began to explain slowly, "Guilds are a place for wizards to gather and do things. Only people who can use magic can be said to be a wizard. Then, only people who had become wizards could join a guild. Therefore, my son. You can only join a guild as long as you can use magic."

"I can do it"

"Hm?" Makarov was stunned to hear this, "You can do it?"

"Yeah" Allen nodded calmly, "Just magic, right? I can do that kind of thing. It is an easy thing to do"

"Because you can do magic. How about you show us?" Gildarts asked with a smile, "As long as you can show that you are a wizard, you can join the guild"

"Do I need to do it here?"

"Sure," Makarov nodded and said back, "You can show your magic here. As long as you can do it, I will allow you to join this guild."

"Before that, I want to ask something first"

"Question?"

"Guilds provide jobs for wizards who join them. Wizards take jobs according to their abilities. This means that the stronger the wizard, the more work he can do. Is what I said true?"

"Oh?"

Makarov and Gildarts were a little stunned when they heard Allen's words. They were a little surprised to know that a child of Allen's age could say such words.

"What you say is not wrong," Gildarts said with a smile, "However, there are also some considerations for a wizard taking on a mission such as the requirements of the mission.
