Opening my bedroom window into the balcony, I glance around to take in my surrounding. Since my apartment is in tenth floor of this 13th floor building, the view is quiet something but nothing much different compare to Earth on the surface though…

Looking down in the distance, a mid-age woman, probably a housewife is saying goodbye to her kids…while loading two big-ass gas cylinders into a truck…with one hand! Watching such a scene, I feel like my lip twitching a bit. Though I don't know who her husband is, my respect for him rose a bit.

"There's no way this is Earth. Here should be Amara, a planet resembling modern earth with the addition of monsters, dungeons and various fantastical abilities. The very first setting of game Divine Rising"

This world is not earth. Although resembling modern earth, Amara actually setting in a post apocalypse world where monster and dungeon exist along with ability to utilize arcane power aka mana in this world.

Based on lore of original game, this world was once a carbon copy of earth until one day dungeons suddenly emerge from the depth of planet and with that Hell let loose on this planet. Monsters, many times stronger than normal creature, emerging as new apex predators and geographical changes by dungeon resulting in natural disaster causing countless casualties. If I want to re-quote from the game a sentence, "At that time, whether it be men, women, animals or any kind of pronouns they use, everyone realized what it means to become a prey back. How weak and useless any effort become,"

But the wise man once said that misfortune always accompany by opportunity. Humans gain access to new type of energy which could make many unbelievable things easily achievable. Elemental could be produced from thin air.

Monsters that symbolize death god to everyone, even with the latest firearms, become possible to be pushed back and injury with no hope besides embracing heaven, become able to heal. Because nothing could explain this miracle with human limited knowledge, someone came up with an idea to name this power Arcane. This power is now accessible to everyone in this world to utilize, but it takes genius to say that they were blessed with arcane.

Now, even though the fight between monster and humanity still prevail, with time Amara had gained its momentary peace back, the current era in this world was already over 500 years after said apocalypse, the very same era as the original game. And this is an era when another big wave was set to happen throughout Amara.

"I should be the same age as the protagonist this year, right? That's means the same generation, huh…"

Based on memories, that should be correct. That means I can enter too. Gazing through the scenery from my apartment, a towering and colossal building caught my eyes.

"Academy huh…"

The one which starting of game Devine Rising. One of three greatest institution that control one of three greatest dungeon in the world. Can I assume this as lucky or not?

If I transmigrated a bit earlier, maybe I don't need to put much effort into going forward and just live my life as a slightly abnormal normal life compared to on Earth. In contrast, riding on waves of the new era along with characters…no, the people that I love. Better yet, possibly become the very reason for many more new waves in this world that I adore.

Unexpectedly, my mouth curls up into an excited smile. If this world mirrors Divine Rising, there would be plenty of fantastical elements to marvel at.

Despite the abundance of dangerous things in this world. Even though there's no way to revive your life as in the game anymore, I can't help this burning excitement from well up inside me. From protagonist to various heroine which I adore with all my heart, they're living flesh and blood in this world. The idea of meeting them in the real world is impossible for me to calm down about.

The world itself also are treasure trove full of exciting thing. Like earth, fascinating sight like nature and technologies also exist here but it becomes more magic orient. The plot layout that the power source is from magic stones from monster or nature itself, but I wonder how they function actually. There're also a lot of magic tools with various uses in game alone but there should be a lot more in the real world. Researching them might not just be a dream after all.

Power setting in Divine Rising also consists of several types of abilities that differ from some character to other. Just magic itself varied from simple convenience magic to offensive, defensive, bloodline, healing and even pervert magic exists here too! In addition to that, skill, rune and some other different abilities which need specific conditions to use. All of them are door of possibilities that just waiting to be tapped upon.

Just wonder how I can use various types of power that exist here makes me shiver in excitement. I feel like a childish curiosity which had rotted down by times began to rekindle back inside my heart. I want to experience them all!

That is the purest desire in me right now. Maybe it will be difficult if it is just me, but with the help of others, I don't believe I can't achieve it. My biggest advantage right now is my gaming knowledge and information.

'Perhaps only that woman can rival my information in term of amount.'

But her action was restricted until some progression in the plot. Besides, she is already too powerful to even care about what I do right now.

"If I'm going to adventure around and bringing along main cast with me…strength are necessary. A lot of strength." 

Not only that, but within this realm, there're a place that only mention as references in game and since they are not directly related to plot, player had no access to them. But now things are different. There's nothing to restrict me or anyone in this world. I am free. But if I'm going to explore these places that are still unknown even to players, the more reason for me to get stronger and making ample preparation beforehand.

For that to happen, I would need to do some really hard core training. While I'm still not sure of my current abilities, I have invaluable knowledge with me. Just that alone will give me an edge compare to my peers in a journey to get stronger. While I doubt I can be the strongest… wait a minute, is it really impossible…

"Could I surpass all main cast and claim the strongest for myself…" closing my eyes, I began to question my purpose in this world.

Despite all kinds of overpowered character, could I surpass them all? Against those monster-like heroines in end-game stage. One of the heroines could freely manipulate giant fire at will, burning everything in sight. Another could transform to literal lightning zooming through hunting ground while leaving destruction in the path.

There is also heroine which regeneration is so strong at the end-game she's basically an immortal. And in addition, protagonist which fated to become the strongest of them all with abundance of potential in any path he took. Despite all that obstacles, can I proudly say I'll claim to be the strongest in this world?

"Hah! Why doubt first. Let's just go for it. The strongest in this world!"

Overpowered protagonist? Monster-like heroine? Unbeatable hidden character? So what, more like worthy opponents for me!

"I'm going to surpass them all and leave them in dust!"

That doesn't mean I'm going to disrupt their progress. Character strive to get stronger are my favourite part of any story. Why get in a way of what you love? And to do that to women that you love while they are trying to get stronger is sheer foolish. Contrary, they getting stronger might push me further to get stronger too.

"Yosh! Just you watch." Hyping myself while raising both my hands to the sky,

'I don't know why or how I had come to this world, but if I'm going to live here from now on…'

I will make sure to leave a proof here. A proof that…

"This extra will rise!"

"Oh! For goddamn sake! Shut the fuck up already, could you!?"

This unfamiliar foreign world that I had fallen into in contrary end up becoming a familiar world that I'm looking forward to explore while aiming for the strongest.
