Chapter 12 - Can I love him?

Riven pov's on.

After Syndra and Zed went to bed, Yasuo and I cleared the table and washed the dishes, as we weren't sleepy yet we decided to grab a few bottles of drinks that were left on the table and head to the castle garden.

-This place is amazing! -Yasuo said impressed as he sat on the grass.

-It is not? -I took a sip from the bottle.

"I never expected me to meet Syndra, or even see Zed again…" He had his head down and gave a sincere smile. -Thank you for that, for all this... Without you none of this would be happening. He lifted his head and looked up at the sky. -Those few days I was with you, were worth all the years I was alone.

-Don't thank me for that, I think this is just the beginning. - This time I was the one who looked at the sky. -I'm close to the most important people in my life and that goes for everything. In case the most important people in my life are you and Syn in case you want to know. Sure, I have other friends and acquaintances, but it doesn't compare to you and they aren't even here either.

-Do you think I'm important? -He stared at me. Her cheeks were a little red, apparently the alcohol had started to take effect.

-Tell me when you're sure. I would love to know. - He smiled and took another sip.

-I'll say it with the greatest pleasure. -I lifted the bottle to accompany him and took several sips. - I was thinking about maybe going back to my journey, you know?

-Oh yes, your journey, no? - He looked at the ground again. - You intended to go where? After leaving here.

-I wanted to explore Ionia more, it's probably one of the most beautiful countries in all of Valoran! - I smiled as I said that. - I always dreamed of seeing the world since I was little. - When are you planning on leaving? - He drank the liquid that was in his bottle and then threw it to a corner.

-I was thinking maybe leaving in a few days.

-But didn't you just say that it was just the beginning Riven? -Yasuo spoke with a disappointed tone of voice as he took a full bottle.

-If you noticed, I spoke maybe in every sentence. - I was serious. -That doesn't mean I'm going to do these things, it means I feel like it, but I can't because of something. -I blinked at him.

- And maybe it means what? That you're going to leave and never come back? Or are you going back just to see Syndra? Whether you like it or not, you messed with my feelings too, and now, you're going to decide to go see the world and leave me lonely again?! I don't want you to feel sorry for it, but I think it's silly! -Yasuo said in a sad and angry tone at the same time. Tears formed in his eyes, he must have been so worked up from the drink too.

-Calm down Yasuo! I haven't given the verdict yet! - I scolded him.

- Calm me down or what for Riven? So you can look me in the face and say you're leaving me? That you're going to travel and I'm going to be alone in that isolated cabin again? If I have to go back to that place without you, I'd much rather face the entire Ionian army than stay there! - Yasuo was getting out of control.

I got up quickly and sat down across from him, gripping his shoulders and starting to rock him.

-I WILL BE YOUR PET! YOU DIDN'T WAIT FOR ME TO FINISH SPEAKING! I WANTED TO BE DRAMATIC FUCKING! -I screamed for him to hear me.

-You're not saying that to make me stop, are you? He looked at me with tear-filled eyes.

-I would never do that, you asshole. - I smiled at him.

He hugged me tightly and we lay down on the floor, I stayed there soothing him while stroking his hair. I didn't think he would react like that and it broke my heart. And in that moment, I had made my decision, I wanted to be with him and Syndra, I didn't want to be wandering around the world alone anymore, I wanted to create our little world right there in that mound. I wanted to see his world.

-Promise you won't leave me! -He asked me with that crying voice.

-I promise drunk swordsman! I promise. - I smiled at him and left a kiss on his forehead.

-Give me a chance to prove my feelings for you... Please. -Yasuo told me seriously. -I know it was a few days we were together, but I'm sure of my feelings for you. And I say that with certainty. I love this Noxiana in front of me. I love you Riven.

I took him out of my embrace and we sat back on the grass again. looking into each other's eyes

-I don't care about your past, what you did or didn't do, but I'm able to forgive everything for you, just like you said before. I fell in love with today's Riven, the Riven that I met when I was passed out in front of my house, the one with the strange and undecipherable personality. That person without patience and without the least bit of shame on their face, that extremely intelligent woman, but whose mouth is more rotten than garbage. -He said that with a firm voice, showing certainty in his words.

My heart beat faster and faster as I heard those words.

I thought Yasuo was beautiful, friendly, adorable, bum, hardworking, wonderful and among many other things, I knew I felt something strong for him, that man attracted me like a magnet. Even after learning that I was Noxiana, he didn't let me down, didn't hand me over to the officers or anything like that, he took care of me and made me happy these days. He completed me, whether I wanted it or not.

I picked up my bottle again and took a few sips.

He and I were silent for a while, just staring at each other. Soon, he was getting closer and closer to me, until we were face to face with each other. I could feel his breath next to me, it was hot and heavy, and it caused goose bumps as it touched my skin.

-I've been holding an uncontrollable urge since that day you provoked me on the table... - Yasuo spoke close to my ear with that hoarse voice that drove me crazy.

He lightly brushed his nose along my shoulders and neck, leaving a few kisses wherever he went.

-And even? - I spoke in a sensual tone. - Want to satiate your will?

So he bit my earlobe and threw me into the grass.

-Can I? - He had his hands on the buttons of the belt that held my garment.

I removed those fabrics and displayed my body, Yasuo seemed delighted and pleased with that sight.

Riven Pov's off Syndra Pov's on

I was lying on the bed thinking about my kiss and Zed's. I could barely concentrate on sleeping because of him. And he always did that, that... That... THAT DOOL! That fool who made me smile and kept me from sleeping at night.

When I let go of these thoughts a bit, I heard some strange noises and soon began to feel vibrations coming from the garden floor.

I walked to my bedroom window and before I even arrived I realized what was happening. Riven and Yasuo were having sex in my backyard. IN MY BACKYARD DUDE! Go to the bedroom at least, dammit!

I looked for a vase or any other trinket around me that would break and I ran to the window, threw it and when the object shattered on the sidewalk, I screamed.

-NO SEX IN MY BACKYARD, DAUGHTER BITCH! - And I let out a laugh.

Riven needed to pay me for being a son of a bitch with me and Zed.

They had both been very scared, and I could see Riven's blood boil.

She got up and ran into the castle, only in her underwear.

Yasuo remained stunned and unresponsive.

I ran to my door and quickly locked it.

-SYNDRAAAAA! I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!- She screamed as she ran inside the castle.

Riven came to my door and started beating and pulling at it with all his might, while screaming and huffing.

-I'M GOING TO DRESS YOU, SYNDRA! – She screamed angrily.

I couldn't help but laugh at that, it was the best revenge ever!
