CHAPTER 910: Reciprocating

The godhunter led Han Shuo all the way to a pond below a high and steep waterfall. But before they could get close, a squadron of godhunters intercepted them. They were led by a man with a deep red nose. He shouted rudely, "Lamb, what are you doing here? Your chief is busy discussing business and you should be out patrolling!"

Although the red-nosed man shouted at Lamb, his eyes kept darting to Han Shuo. As the Godhunters of Ronson Canyon, even though they had different chiefs and belonged to different factions, the Godhunters knew each other. The red-nosed Godhunter could tell that Han Shuo was not one of them, so he was rather cautious towards him.

Lamb bent his body slightly and took a humble stance. Smiling, he replied, "Please inform my chief that an important guest would like to meet her.

The red nose furrowed his brows and said angrily, "Did you not hear what I said? Your chief is in the middle of an important meeting. All matters can wait until the meeting is over. Do you not understand the rules?"

Lamb stared blankly for a moment before turning to Han Shuo and saying helplessly, "I am sorry, but we will have to wait. I think the meeting will be over soon."

Han Shuo knitted his brows. With a thought, one of his demon generals stealthily flew into the waterfall and entered the vast cave below.

Han Shuo saw that Scarlett and a number of faction leaders were having a heated discussion. They seemed to disagree on when to attack their prey. Their faces were flushed with anger and their voices grew louder.

After the demon general walked around the cave system and surveyed the situation, Han Shuo calmly announced, "I'm going in.

"But..." Lamb was surprised that Han Shuo was going to enter the cave. He anxiously tried to persuade Han Shuo to wait but was interrupted.

"You are a bit deaf aren't you, friendo? Imma kill you if you take another fucking step," warned the red nose in an unfriendly voice after immediately stepping into Han Shuo's path.

Han Shuo gently lifted his left hand and patted the shoulder of the red nose. <i >Crack! The loud noise of bones shattering sounded from every inch of his body. He spasmed as blood gushed out from his orifices.

Then suddenly, <i >Splat! His head exploded and his brain matter painted the flat gray rock nearby like abstract art.

"Enemy! Enemy!" those godhunters standing behind the red nose shouted at the top of their lungs after their leader was murdered.

"How, how could you?!" Lamb was frightened and alarmed. He did not understand why Han Shuo would do something so reckless.

Han Shuo smiled and said to Lamb, "Don't worry, you will be fine!" Then Han Shuo transformed into a trail of shadow and weaved between the squadron of Godhunters, slaughtering them in one fell swoop. He continued to walk leisurely towards the waterfall.

""Enemy! We have an intruder!"

"Enemy outside the cave! Gather everyone!"

The panicked cries of the Gohunters could be heard everywhere, and those who had been hiding around the waterfall immediately rushed to the scene of the crime. They were all effortlessly killed by Han Shuo and their divine souls collected by the Cauldron of the Myriad Demon .

Lamb was terrified. He kept a safe distance from Han Shuo, fearing that Han Shuo might suddenly turn to attack him.

Despite their extremely loud discussions, the faction leaders noticed the disturbance outside the cave. They broke off their meeting and went outside to see what was going on.

As they emerged from the waterfall, they saw that the ground was completely covered in corpses. Their skeletons and organs had been completely crushed and shattered by the brute force, and their divine souls were gone.

And standing calmly on the bodies of his victims was Han Shuo, the murderer.

"Who are you? What do you want?" one of the faction leaders shouted in a stern voice.

"I am the patriarch of the House of Han. I've come to harvest your souls," Han Shuo said casually, smiling.

"Why, why would you do that? We did not attack the House of Han when they passed through Ronson Canyon. We have no quarrel with each other!" The faction leader was shocked and frightened when he learned Han Shuo's identity. He had heard about Han Shuo's tremendous power from the rumours coming out of Witherbone City.

"You did not attack them because you did not want to, but because you were afraid of Han Hao. Otherwise, the House of Han might already be dead," Han Shuo explained casually. Before they could respond, a swarm of demon generals appeared and descended upon the faction leaders like a massive dark wave.

Han Shuo had not attacked these faction leaders just to add more soul energy to the Cauldron of the Myriad Demon . He wanted to take their Highgod souls, erase their memories and self-awareness, and turn them into spirits that would help his House of Han members advance in their cultivation.

These faction leaders were quickly immobilised by the great swarm of demon generals. None of them could resist or even escape. Their flesh and blood was quickly devoured by the demon generals. Even the Godhunters who had remained at a distance were hunted down and attacked.

In less than five minutes, every Godhunter in and around the cave had been murdered by the Demon Generals. Han Shuo captured their divine souls and stored them in the Cauldron. The memories and self-awareness of these faction leaders had been erased. These blank souls contained nothing but insight and understanding of the fundamental forces.

Apart from Han Shuo, only Scarlett and Lamb were still standing.

When Scarlett saw the demon general's sky swarming towards her, she felt desperate, thinking she was about to die tragically at the hand of Han Shuo. But when the menacing dark cloud reached her, they flew gently past her as if she were not there. Not a single demon general attacked her. She was pleasantly surprised and immediately realised that she had been spared because she had gone out of her way to help the House of Han.

A feeling of respect rose in her heart as she felt the terrifying power of the demon generals around her. She suddenly understood why Hao Han had such a mysterious and terrifying power.

Moments later, Han Shuo finished his slaughter and all the demon generals returned to the Cauldron. There was no more threat around them.

It was now that Han Shuo turned to Scarlett and asked smilingly, "You must be Scarlett?"

Scarlett was a little surprised to hear Han Shuo say her name. She bowed respectfully to Han Shuo and humbly replied, "Yes, sir, that's me. How can I help you?"

"Haha, my son told me about you, how you helped my House of Han. I happen to be passing through Ronson Canyon, so I thought I should pay you a visit and cleanse the canyon of certain filth," Han Shuo said in a friendly manner.

Scarlett seemed somewhat surprised that Han Shuo, who had just effortlessly slaughtered every Godhunter faction leader in Ronson Canyon, would speak to her so politely. She asked respectfully, "This son of yours who was talking about me, is he...?"

"He's Han Hao! You know him, right?" Han Shuo replied with a smile.

Scarlett seemed strangely emotional when she heard Han Hao's name. She nodded nervously and replied, "I do, I do..." She paused for a moment before muttering, "I should have expected that... Not only do you look similar, but your auras and demeanour are also similar..."

"Han Hao has broken away from the Godhunter Alliance. It will only be a matter of time before he becomes an enemy of the Death Hegemon. I hear you have a pretty good relationship with Han Hao. You don't want to be his enemy, do you? Why don't you move to the fringe? You know, Han Hao is there too," Han Shuo said. He realised something from her body language.

Scarlett became even more nervous and her face grew a little redder. Mixed emotions of doubt, touched and pleasantly surprised could be seen on her face. After shifting her gaze between Han Shuo and the floor for a while, she asked nervously and gently, "Is this invitation from you or from Han Hao?"

"Um..." Han Shuo stared blankly for a while before smiling and replying, "You could say it's an invitation from both of us. If it weren't for your help, our entire House of Han might have perished in this canyon. Han Hao and I are very grateful for your help. If you remain in Ronson Canyon, you may one day become an enemy of Han Hao. Therefore, we hope that you will leave the Godhunter Alliance and move to the Fringe.

"If Han Hao wants me to go to the fringe, I will get ready right away," Scarlett said without any hesitation as soon as she heard that it was Han Hao's intention, as if it had been decided a long time ago.

Han Shuo was happy and rather surprised. He had not expected that Han Hao could make Scarlett fall so deeply in love with him that she would be willing to leave everything she had built in Ronson Canyon and move to the Fringe.

After all the other Godhunter faction leaders in Ronson Canyon had been murdered, if Scarlett stayed in the Canyon, she could easily take over those leaderless factions and become the most powerful person in Ronson Canyon. But Scarlett was willing to give it all up for Han Hao without a second thought.

Han Shuo was quite surprised by this. Han Shuo then noticed that although Scarlett had a voluptuous body, she had two hideous scars on her face.

Han Shuo immediately had an idea.

"Scarlett, come over here. Let me get rid of those scars," Han Shuo said.

Scarlett looked as if she could not believe what she had heard.

She stared at Han Shuo and stammered, "You... you mean... you can get rid of... the scars on my face...?" "Of course.

It's quite simple," Han Shuo replied confidently, as if he could treat her problems with ease. Scarlett was thrilled.

If someone else had said those words, she might not have believed it. She fully believed in Han Shuo's abilities because he was known in every corner of Elysium for his miraculous healing skills as the master of the Celestial Pearl Pharmacy.

Happily, she went to see Han Shuo.
