CHAPTER 728: Returning Home With Honour

**Profound Continent.

There were no obvious changes in the surroundings. The ocean around the Cemetery of Death was still as blue as the sky. The ocean breeze gently blew across his face. The air was refreshing. However, since the elemental energies on this material plane were simply too thin compared to Elysium, it took Han Shuo a while to adjust.

"The elemental energies are really thin," Andrina wrinkled her eyebrows and remarked after exiting the Cemetery of Death and carefully analysing the surroundings with her eyes closed.

"This place is not Elysium. If the elemental energies here weren't as low as they are now, there would be many more gods on this material plane," Han Shuo said. He expanded his consciousness and immediately gained a clear view of his surroundings. He suddenly laughed out loud and said, "Come, let's go to my city!"

The two of them took to the air and flew towards Brettel City of the Lancelot Empire.

Half a day later, Han Shuo and Andrina appeared on the streets of Brettel City. A live, miniaturised scene of the entire Brettel City was projected into Han Shuo's Consciousness as soon as he was near the city.

Brettel City seemed to have become even more prosperous and bustling. Every street was filled with horses, carriages, people and activity. There was an abundance of goods for sale.

A feeling of familiarity and homecoming rose in his heart as he walked the streets of Brettel City once again. Han Shuo and Andrina headed towards the City Lord's Mansion.

Brettel City had undergone a tremendous transformation during the several dozen years that Han Shuo had been away. The City Lord's Mansion had been built right in the centre of the city. Squadrons of knights in dark armour proudly stood guard on all sides of the mansion.

Han Shuo's return had caused an uproar in the city lord's mansion. All of his acquaintances had gathered at the mansion upon hearing the news of his return. They would express their excitement to Han Shuo in their own unique ways.

Jack and Dorcas had obviously aged a bit. Since they had not spent time cultivating in edict forces or elemental energies, they had grown into middle-aged men. Jack's child was even old enough to serve in the military and was now a knight under Brettel City.

Helen, however, remained as beautiful as ever. She had taken a rebirth pill that had preserved her youth. She had become a Fire Sacred Magus. There was a dazzling halo around her head.

Soon, all the characters Han Shuo was most familiar with arrived. After Dick delivered the news, it was not long before Emily, Phoebe, Fanny, Jasper and a long list of women rushed to the mansion via transportation facilities in various major cities.

The ladies were crying with emotion as they were finally reunited with Han Shuo after all these years. They would describe Han Shuo as an insensitive person.

After spending some time consoling them, these ladies, who had extraordinary status in the Lancelot Empire, finally regained control of their chaotic minds. They then began to talk to Han Shuo.

As expected, the Lancelot Empire became the most powerful nation on the Profound Continent. The Oden Empire, the Brut Merchant Alliance and the Kasi Empire had all been annexed. Lawrence's dream of uniting the Profound Continent under his rule was now a reality.

Following the treaty, the remnants of the Church of Light and the Shrine of Ice retreated to remote and desolate lands. They no longer recruited disciples or conducted religious activities on the Profound Continent. Over the course of several dozen years, they left the stage that was the Profound Continent.

Nowadays, in the Lancelot Empire, there were only followers of the Druidic Order, the Church of Calamity, and the vast majority who worshipped and prayed to Han Shuo. The new situation on the Profound Continent was ideal in every way.

Gilbert, Stratholme the old monster, the Emperor of Flames, Elizabeth, Sanguis, Bollands, Trunks and others had also rushed to the mansion after receiving the news.

Han Shuo gathered with these people he knew in the largest hall of the City Lord's Mansion.

"My friends, I am truly happy that we can all meet again and gather here after so many years. Today, let us drink until we pass out!" Han Shuo toasted.

The party continued for three days. After the crowd had sobered up from their hangovers, Han Shuo finally began to talk business. He slowly explained the differences between the Profound Continent and Elysium to everyone: "The elemental energy on the Profound Continent is too thin and scarce in all kinds of resources. Its inhabitants are primitive in the cultivation of elemental energy."

The crowd listened intently to Han Shuo's words. It was the very first time most of these people had heard that there were other worlds in this vast universe. Many were astonished to learn that the elemental energies on Elysium were intense and that gods were common.

"I have returned to the Profound Continent, not to stay, and will soon leave again. This time, after I leave, I probably won't come back. Elysium is the best place in the universe for cultivation. I currently own a considerable business in this world and can guarantee your safety. If any of you wish to seek greater strength, let me know and I will take you to Elysium," Han Shuo said in a deep voice.

Several dozen years was simply too long for an average mortal, especially for those who had not put in the time and effort to cultivate. These people had put most of their efforts into procreation and raising their young. There were simply too many friends and families on the Profound Continent for them to part with. Han Shuo thought that some of them might not be willing to move to the other side of the universe with him.

"Master, wherever you go, I will follow!" Gilbert immediately declared his position. He did not hesitate for a moment.

Right after Gilbert, Stratholme, the old monster, the Emperor of Flames, Elizabeth, Bollands, Sanguis and the others whose minds were focused on gaining greater powers excitedly declared that they were willing to go to the other world with Han Shuo.

These characters did not have too many things they did not want to part with on the Profound Continent. They were determined to become stronger, and they had made up their minds as soon as they heard that Elysium was the best place to cultivate.

Although Fanny, Emily, Phoebe, Helen, Lisa, and a few other women of Han Shuo's had families on the Profound Continent that they were reluctant to leave, these ladies were even more reluctant to leave Han Shuo. Therefore, after a moment of hesitation, they also agreed to go with Han Shuo, but on the condition that they would be given time to say goodbye to their families.

Characters like Dorcas and Jack, however, since their goals were different from Han Shuo's, in addition to the fact that they have wives and children in Brettel City, decided to stay after spending some time in contemplation. Having gotten his revenge, Trunks now had enormous resources and influence in the Valley of Sunshine and the Dark Forest. He had a daughter with the bandit Janet. He too could not part with his possessions and his family in this world, so he decided to stay.

After taking a count, Han Shuo gave everyone three months to make all the necessary preparations to leave. After three months, they were to gather in Brettel City. If they were absent at that time, it would be assumed that they had decided to stay.

Knowing that there wouldn't be many opportunities to meet with Han Shuo in the future, those friends of Han Shuo's who had decided to stay on the Profound Continent didn't leave Brettel City, but instead spent as much time as they could with Han Shuo and drank as much liquor as they could.

Although Han Shuo had originally intended to give them to Emily and the others, he thought that his friends on the Profound Continent would have more use for them, as these items could easily be purchased on Elysium.

There is always some sadness in farewells, and many decided to get drunk to numb the pain. For more than two months, the City Lord's mansion in Brettel City was filled with the pungent smell of alcohol. The aroma of fine wine could be smelled for miles around. Drunken bigwigs could be seen going in and out of the mansion, causing the civilians to raise their eyebrows.

Han Shuo then found time to visit Ossen City to bid farewell to King Lawrence of the Lancelot Empire. Lawrence was saddened by Han Shuo's impending departure. However, with the entire Profound Continent now under his control, whether Han Shuo was around or not didn't make much difference to his reign. Lawrence, unable to persuade Han Shuo to stay, reluctantly said goodbye to Han Shuo.

When Candice, Emma, Graeae, Pegasus and Ayermike Cotton heard about Elysium, they asked Han Shuo to bring them along. Although they were already at the peak of the Profound Continent, as people who relentlessly sought greater power, they obviously didn't want to miss this opportunity. They hurriedly made their preparations and rushed to Brettel City.

***Three months later.

Gilbert, Stratholme the old monster, the Emperor of Flames, Elizabeth, Bollands, Sanguis, Emily, Fanny, Candide, Emma, Graeae, Pegasus, Ayermike Cotton and the others gathered in Brettel City. As Jack, Trunks and the others waved them goodbye, they followed Han Shuo as he flew towards the Cemetery of Death on the Boundless Sea.

Since all of these people going with Han Shuo were power-seekers, they all had the ability to fly, which was very handy. After seven days, the group finally arrived at the island where the Cemetery of Death was located.

"We have visitors!" Andrina gasped before quietly warning Han Shuo as they were about to land on the island.

Han Shuo's heart jumped and he immediately expanded his consciousness. He immediately realised that there were five midgods in the cemetery of death. Han Shuo was quite surprised.

"You bunch, be careful and stick together!" Han Shuo turned around and quietly instructed the group. None of these people who were going to Elysium with Han Shuo had even reached the Lowgod Realm. They would be completely helpless in a battle against existences of that level.

"What's wrong?" asked Stratholme.

"There might be enemies. Their powers are far greater than yours. But don't worry, Andrina and I are here. If they show the slightest trace of evil intent, they will undoubtedly be dead!" Han Shuo explained. He asked Andrina to protect the others before he gradually descended to the island alone.

"Haha... We have been waiting for you for three months. You have finally returned!" a boorish voice came from the centre of the cemetery of death .

Soon after, a group of five flew out and revealed themselves. It was obvious from their appearance that they had no good intentions. In their eyes, they had the intention of brutally murdering him as they stared at Han Shuo and smiled sinisterly.

Han Shuo's face turn cold. He shouted, "Who are you?"

"Young man, I don't know who you are and I don't care. We were destined to die, but for whatever reason, someone transferred us to this low level material plane. Hehehe, that special someone told us that there is only one Lowgod on this low-level material plane. We would be hunted down and killed if we returned to Elysium, but on this material plane no one could touch us. We could do whatever we wanted, that is of course after we had finished with you," the leader of the group of five said as he looked at Han Shuo with a malicious smile. When he noticed Emily, Fanny and the ladies standing behind Han Shuo, he laughed excitedly and remarked, "Not bad, even though the people on this material plane are weak, the ladies look very tasty. It's been a long time since my brothers and I had contact with women. This is wonderful!"

"Dolores sent you here, didn't he?" Han Shuo wore a dark face as he sized up the gang with a sharp look. He quickly managed to deduce the course of events.

"Hehe, it doesn't matter. From this day on, we will be the rulers of this material plane. Youngster, consider yourself unlucky!" the man said as he laughed. The gods standing behind him glowered at Emily and the ladies.

"You protect them, let me kill this trash!" Before Han Shuo could say a word, Andrina, who resented such characters, had charged forward.

"Hehe, it's a little girl. I like, I like! Brothers, she is mine!" An old man in tattered clothes who cultivated in the energy of darkness rubbed his hands excitedly as he saw Andrina flying towards them.

Since the energy Andrina was cultivating in was not one of the Twelve Basic Forces, and she was very good at hiding her aura, the five of them had no idea how deadly Andrina was.

"Leave one alive!" Han Shuo hastily reminded Andrina as she charged forward with a cold face.

"I know!" Andrina replied angrily and continued to attack the gang. Although it may have appeared that Andrina was a helpless sheep running towards a group of fierce tigers, the reality was quite the opposite. A burst of glorious aura flew from her petite body and transformed into five small vortexes that suddenly hit each of the five of them.

Unsurprisingly, they were all shredded into fine chunks of flesh that rained down with their blood, except for the boorish leader of the gang, who was only skinned. Every inch of his body was covered in blood as he looked at Andrina with terrified eyes and screamed, "Spare me, spare my life!"

"Is it Dolores?" Han Shuo asked calmly from a distance after taking the four divine souls into the Cauldron of Myriad Demon .

"I don't know who Dolores is, but it was an old man named Jeff who sent me here!" the man replied, pleading, "Please spare me, we have no quarrel with each other!"

All right, he can go now," Han Shuo said without a trace of mercy in his voice as he gestured with his hand. Han Shuo now knew who was behind the devastation.

Splat! The person exploded. His flesh and blood splattered everywhere.

The mortals like Ayermike Cotton and Stratholme watching behind Han Shuo were stunned. As the gang of five made no attempt to hide their terrifying auras, Ayermike Cotton and the others found it difficult to breathe in their presence. And yet Andrina, who looked like a normal little girl, finished them off with seemingly no effort. They were astonished.

"Oh no, the interplanar transportation matrix has been destroyed!" Andrina suddenly exclaimed in surprise.

"What?!" Han Shuo jerked and screamed.
