CHAPTER 560: The Source Of Evil

The stardust Current that covered the entire sky was like a gigantic, moving, colourful oil painting. Han Shuo's heart grew calm. He lifted his head and slowly expanded his consciousness outwards...

There was an inferior god cultivating in the Edict of Destruction just like him. This aura of destruction emanating from the northwest was extremely terrifying. Even the slightest contact with its consciousness would immediately trigger the corrosive power of the energy of destruction. Han Shuo hastily avoided it. He understood that the Demon King who occupied this position must be Bechymos.

Han Shuo continued to expand his consciousness outwards after keeping a distance from Bechymos. He then discovered an area where the elements of water and fire were gathered in high concentration. With just one thought, Han Shuo immediately knew that the person must be Cecrops and Golander. The duo of Cecrops and Golander cultivated the element of water and the element of fire respectively. It is said that fire and water don't mix. But these two Demon Kings got along surprisingly well and enjoyed a great friendship.

Over on Cecrops and Golander's side, Han Shuo sensed the presence of a ton of demons. He was sure that Cecrops and Golander had brought their personal guards with them.

After stealthily withdrawing his consciousness, Han Shuo took a deep breath. His consciousness sank into a state of emptiness as he calmly and patiently waited for the moment when the stardust current would dissipate.

After an unknown amount of time, the colourful and brightly coloured space, like a pond that had a huge boulder thrown into it, suddenly burst into a huge wave. Magnificent and glorious colours shot out and intertwined. Brilliant rays of all colours streaked through space like shooting stars.

After a round of this dazzling display, the stardust current drifted off into the distance. Suddenly, in mid-air, a taupe-coloured entrance in the form of a whirlpool of all sorts of energies came into view. This vortex was gigantic and seemed to be sucking in and swallowing up matter with tremendous force. It would leave any observer stunned by its unfathomable mystery.

As Han Shuo stared at the vortex in amazement, contemplating its profound mysteries, Manticole suddenly wore a delighted expression and lightly shouted, "The stardust current has passed. We can go in now."

"Get ready," Leviathan instructed with a grave expression and a deep voice, "Stay close behind us. Don't take a step away from us."

Whoosh whoosh whoosh...

As Manticole and Leviathan spoke, a few dozen shadows suddenly entered the vortex. From their aura and location, Han Shuo guessed that they were Cecrops, Golander and their forces.

"Hey hey, those two must be in a hurry," Leviathan chuckled. He signalled with his hand to temporarily halt the group's movement. It was only after Golander and his group had all entered the Void that he finally said, "Let's go.

"Bechymos has yet to enter," Han Shuo, who was following Leviathan as they flew directly towards the vortex, said as if by chance.

Leviathan, flying towards the void, looked at Han Shuo with a somewhat astonished expression on his face. As if completely astonished that Han Shuo could find out Bechymos' tracks, he said, "Bechymos has always been a lone wolf. Every time he enters the Void, he doesn't bring a single subordinate with him. Even the four of us Demon Kings put together would be less familiar with the Void than he is. Besides, his whereabouts are the most elusive. Do you know where he is?"

Han Shuo pointed to a piece of land in the northwest that was overgrown with lush shrubs and said in a natural voice, "Right down there. He cultivates in the Edict of Destruction, as do I. I can feel it."

When Han Shuo said this, Manticole also received a small shock. He said in a rather astonished manner, "Mister Han Shuo is indeed out of the ordinary. Even the two of us couldn't detect Bechymos' location. But you could."

Leviathan nodded. He was also rather surprised by this. But the two of them did not care too much about it. As they spoke, the entrance to the Void came into view. With a single thought, a protective shield as thin as a cicada's wing formed around Han Shuo's entire body. With a flash of black light, Han Shuo's body fell into the Void.

It was as if he had suddenly fallen into a strange dimension. Pure elemental energies of extreme intensity could be found in every corner. When he inhaled, the elements naturally entered his body through his breath, giving him a wonderfully refreshing sensation.

A turbulent greyish air was blowing all around. As Han Shuo focused his attention to look around, he discovered that he had indeed entered another dimension. As far as the eye could see, huge colourful rocks floated in the air. They looked like meteorites floating in the air, constantly sparkling with magnificent lights. This enchanting light show gave its observers the feeling of being in an absurd dreamscape.

Directly in front of them was a system of tunnels made up of air currents, constantly emitting strange lights. Gust after gust of violent wind blew from their sides. The wind blew so hard that even the giant rocks swayed.

"Follow us! Move!" Manticole shouted at the top of his lungs. The sound that reached Han Shuo's ears, however, was as if it had been muffled by layers of concrete and was as soft as an ant's voice.

Han Shuo furrowed his brow and turned to look at Manticole, who was within arm's reach. He realised that the Void was truly miraculous. Manticole, a being with the strength of a Lowgod, shouted at the top of his lungs from such a short distance away, yet the voice that was transmitted was only so faint.

Han Shuo activated his consciousness. Immediately, he sensed the presence of all kinds of energies at this entrance to the Void, namely the eight elemental energies, the four edict forces, as well as some rather unusual energies such as fear and hatred.

"These energies were left behind by those experts whose souls perished in the Void, and were formed from the remaining energies in their bodies. Never try to absorb these energies. They have been floating in the Void for countless years and are contaminated with some kind of unknown aura. Like the Stardust Current, it has an intense corrosive effect on the soul," Leviathan said hastily.

Both Manticole and Leviathan seemed worried and uncomfortable after arriving outside the Void. They constantly spoke words of caution to their minions beside them. Having said these words, Leviathan moved forward cautiously. A spiderweb-like structure of lightning energy quickly formed in their path. It completely cleansed the intense energies at the front of the group. Meanwhile, Manticole took charge of the rear, creating a zone of absolute darkness in the area behind them. With the two Demon Kings working together, using the energies of Darkness and Lightning, every inch of space within their protection was isolated and invulnerable to the plethora of energies around them. Not a single one of these demons suffered the slightest damage.

Han Shuo, standing between Manticole and Leviathan, unfolded his consciousness after entering. He immediately felt the chaotic mix of all kinds of energies. Much of this energy was left behind by experts who did not yet possess the divine energy that had previously entered the Void. They were mixed with some terrifying and strange energies in the Void, making them extremely corrosive to the soul. Perhaps it was due to the strangeness of the Void that they did not dissipate and disappear between heaven and earth!

Suddenly, Han Shuo's demonic infant became restless. To the various types of chaotic energies found in this place, the demonic infant was like a hungry and thirsty child, instinctively craving to devour them. With a single thought, the demonic infant began to spin at high speed. Black electrical sparks suddenly covered the space between Han Shuo and his protective shield. Demonic Yuan clung to his shield like sinister fluids.

In an instant, Han Shuo seemed to turn into a giant magnet. All sorts of negative energies that flooded the entrance to the Void, such as death, destruction, hatred, fear and so on, suddenly and wildly gravitated towards Han Shuo like runaway horses.

Mis.... Mister Han Shuo, what are you doing?"

Leviathan's face shook. When he discovered that the abnormalities with the energies around him were caused by Han Shuo, his heart turned furious and he shouted.

"Han Shuo, stop this at once! Do you want to kill us all?" Manticole was also very shocked. He began to worry about Han Shuo's actions.

This entrance to the Void had always been filled with all kinds of energies. If it had only been one or a few clusters of those energies rushing towards them, Leviathan and Manticole wouldn't have minded. But there were a few hundred clusters of them coming at them at once, and even with their strength, it would be a pain in the ass. They could clear the energies with their divine energy, but that would use up a lot of their divine energy.

They were only at the entrance to the Void. There were still many unknown dangers waiting for them inside. If they wasted a large amount of their divine energy before even entering the Void, then when they actually entered the Void, they would have to be extremely passive. Therefore, when they saw a few hundred clusters of negative energy converging on them at once, the duo screamed urgently at the same time.

"Don't worry, I'll take care of them!" Han Shuo said calmly in a deep voice. The demonic infant turned into a bottomless black hole, emitting the sinister and terrifying power of absorption.

The few hundred clusters of negative energy that suddenly rushed over, as they accelerated to high speeds, turned into colourful and dazzling rays of light that completely engulfed Han Shuo's body. Han Shuo showed a pleasantly surprised expression and operated the Demonic Yuan to its maximum.

It was at this moment that he realised what those shooting star-like rays he had seen before entering were - they were actually formed as the energies flowed at high speed.

All sorts of negative energy that had been attracted by the demonic infant's sucking power were rapidly shining on Han Shuo's body before dissolving into Han Shuo's body at an even faster rate. Han Shuo's demonic infant had basically turned into an extremely sophisticated machine that worked at a rapid pace, converting the negative energy into demonic yuan that flowed into every single one of Han Shuo's limbs, bones, and organs...

The duo of Leviathan and Manticole were about to shout and argue until they suddenly discovered the abnormality in Han Shuo's body and immediately shut their mouths. Their faces were horrified as they stared at Han Shuo, who seemed to have turned into the source of evil!
