Harkon noticed the skeleton running around to the side so he immediately prepared to cast another spell.He saw that the skeleton cast the same spell again.He was surprised and began to wander if the skeleton actually knew any other sorts of spells or if he even had enough mana to cast them.

Harkon immediately made himself calm and completed his casting.The spell he used was flame twister which consisted of summoning a large cyclone made of flames which he could launch forward or control by moving it around the battlefield by using more mana.

The ice stake that the skeleton shot was engulfed by the cyclone made of flames.It took a bit of time to melt since Orion had used more mana to increase its durability.Then Harkon directed the cyclone made of flames towards the skeleton.

Orion for his part was stunned by the size of the flame cyclone he summoned and found that it was moving towards him at high speed.Moving out of the way wouldn't work as the cyclone made of flames was basically following his direction as if it was a homing missile.

Orion knew he had to come up with something quick or he would be done for.He immediately thought of the spells he had and wandered about the capabilities and which one to use.Time seemed to slow down for Orion as his life was in danger.

Orion then thought of the frost nova spell.It was an AOE explosion around the caster and would likely ward off the cyclone or cancel it out if he put enough mana into it.Orion immediately stopped thinking and cast the spell using more mana then usual.

An icy explosion immediately detonated around Orion that left him unharmed but his environment destroyed.The grass around Orion was frozen solid like a tiny forest of frozen tooth picks.The force of the icy explosion and the cyclone made of flames collided.Both forces tried to overwhelm each other but the cyclone made of flames was slightly more powerful.

The momentum and temperature of the cyclone made of flames had decreased drastically but it was still enough to damage Orion slightly.Orion immediately applied the theories behind reinforcing ones body with ice element mana.

The temperature decreased further and Orions body was strenghened and his durability and physical abilities increased to the mid C class.The cyclone made of flames stopped doing damage to Orion and began to fade out entirely.

Orion was left a little scorched from the encounter but thankfully bones weren't as easy to incinerate as flesh.Orion cursed internally as his pristine white bones were left charred black.

Orion then rushed towards Harkon brandishing his staff.He hoped to finish Harkon off in close quarters due to his depleting mana.After all mages were known to be weak in physical combat with a few exceptions of course.

Harkon wouldn't let the skeleton get to close however as he was already preparing another spell.It was the flame whip spell he was preparing as it was a closer range spell and Harkon wanted to keep the skeleton at a distance.

He immediately thought this battle was taking more mana and hardwork then he thought it would.This was the toughest skeleton he had ever seen and skeletons were known for being the weakest kind of undead born from humans.

Harkon finished preparing his spell and a whip made of flames was immediately conjured between his arms.He immediately lashed it out towards Orion.

Orion saw this coming and used his last remaining mana to perform the ice wall spell.

A normal sized durable wall of ice was summoned on the battle field.The flame whip collided with the wall of ice.It melted a tiny bit into the wall of ice but Orion had used a substantial amount of mana and Harkon had used less mana as he didn't see the need to use a lot of it.

Orion then threw the wall made of ice towards Harkon.Orion had made sure that the wall of ice wasn't stuck to the ground and he had held it with both hands like a shield.The wall of durable ice came flying towards Harkon.

Harkon didn't expect this and had to dispell the flame whip spell in order to cast the flame wall spell and block the coming wall of ice.Harkon used a substantial amount of mana in order to create the wall made of flames

The two walls collided and cancelled each other out.Steam immediately flooded the area and Harkon saw a skeletal silhouette within the steam.Orion immediately swung down with his staff at Harkon attempting to bludgeon him to death.

Harkon stepped to the side and began to dodge whilst casting his trump card.Orion continued moving faster trying to hit Harkon with his staff.It was then that Harkon finished his chant and stomped his right foot on the ground.

Orion was immediately set on fire and was sent flying by a powerful explosion.He landed in a tree beside some necromancers who helped him down.

On the other hand Harkon was happy with how things turned out.He had used a special fire element spell that converted motion and force into flame.
