She brought out her spear as one of the assassins came at her, she moved in and blocked his strike with the wood of the spear and she used the tip to slash him but he danced away from her reach.
The assassin was using two small daggers and he brought them together in an X, purple energy blasted out towards her, and instead of dodging it, she was already lurching her attack.
She gathered her essence at the tip of her weapon until it glowed a deep yellow, and then she thrust out. The two energies collided but what Rota failed to realize was that there was now a huge difference between her former power and now.
Her energy punched through the assassin's X-energy blast, it caught the assassin in the chest and tore through as if it was nothing, but the rest still punched a hole in the wall.
Rota looked at her spear in amazement. She didn't know she had such power at her fingertips. Advancing is such a fun thing.
