Chapter 1

*BBZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ*

The moon was high and the night was dark. The only sounds inside the room were my wings flapping and the light snoring of the sleeping young male.

I flew towards the young male and landed on his legs. And since my small mosquito body was very light, he wouldn't have noticed me even if he was awake.

And yes, I did say mosquito body. While I used to be human, I was currently a small mosquito. But I am hoping that would soon change.

29 days ago. (May change in the future.)

"Arg, what's going on".

I was having a terrible headache, which didn't surprise me since a flower pot had just fallen on my head. I was already happy I didn't die.

I opened my eyes, which was a big mistake because everything I saw seemed to be in thermal mode combined with a mosaic-like view.

My headache started becoming worse. But fortunately, after a bit, it seemed like my normal vision returned. But I immediately noticed a few differences.

I felt highly perceptive to motion. But I also felt that colors were less vivid and my vision itself become poorer.

But the biggest difference I felt was that everything seemed big. No, not big. Giant. It seemed that I was standing on a grass field. But every piece of grass was several times bigger than me.

But before I could even start thinking about my strange situation. Everything around me became dark.

I looked into the sky and realized. A giant cow's body was falling on me. It seemed that I would be crushed by a giant cow's body.

And without exactly knowing what I was doing, I felt like I started flapping someone which raised me from the grounds.

And without exactly knowing what I was doing, I changed the balance of my body and started flapping my wings like I have never flapped before.

And suddenly it felt like time itself was becoming slower giving me more time to think and help me evade the grass while doing my best to escape the giant cow body about to crush me.

*BOOM*

Despite being able to escape the cow's body crushing me. The wind its body caused by hitting the ground was enough to throw my small body far away.

Fortunately, my body wasn't injured. And now that I wasn't about to be crushed by a cow, I could think a bit about my situation.

I had just graduated college and was scouted by a large company and immediately received a good position with the promise of an even higher position in 3 years.

But before I could even arrive at the company. I was crushed by a flower pot falling from 12 stories high.

Then I suddenly woke up in a place where everything was much bigger than me with the ability to fly and a body of mosquitoes. This brought me to the conclusion that I had transmigrated into the body of a mosquito. Which wasn't very hard to come by.

And while I couldn't deny that I had transmigrated into the body of a mosquito, it was still hard to accept.

After 24 hard years, I had thought that my time would finally come. But now I was inside the body of a tiny mosquito with a lifespan of a maximum of a few months depending on my species.

Being bombarded with all this knowledge, I needed a moment to understand everything. Fortunately, I was always someone smart.

So after a bit, I understood everything which helped me clear my situation. I didn't feel as helpless as before. I had also given myself my old name, Sima Young.

I decided to start immediately training, and I started with the most important part. My flying ability. While before, I did fly quite well. That didn't mean I was an expert.

So I started flying around, evading the grass or trying to suddenly speed up. But soon I found out how truly batshit my stamina was. I felt tired after a few minutes.

After resting for a bit, I decided to go search for something to draw blood from. Which strangely enough, didn't feel as weird as it was supposed to be.

While I didn't feel comfortable about the fact that my mind had changed, it was currently working in my favor and I couldn't do anything about it.

I flew above the tall grass, finding myself in a large grass field filled with cows. I went to the closest cow, finding it already swarmed with other mosquitoes, and joined them.

I landed on the cow's body and put my proboscis inside its body. I started sucking which came like a second nature and was at the same time keeping an eye on my Stats and EE.

And when I felt that I couldn't suck any more blood, my Stats and EE changed like this.

(this will change later in this chapter again, so isn't very important to read.)

While the change didn't seem much. I was very satisfied. For stats; having them increase by that much for only one blood-drinking session was amazing.

And regarding the EE, while it wasn't that much, and I would need to drink enough blood to reach a hundred in my short lifespan, I did feel that it increased with a good amount.

I left the cow, realizing I couldn't draw more blood at this moment, and decided to explore the surroundings.

If this was my previous world, I would have a high chance of being in Europe because the Culex Pipiens Mosquitoe was a species that was mostly found in Europe.

I flew around for a while, seeing nothing but a big field full of grass and other fields full of growing vegetables. This was probably strengthened because of my bad long vision and small size.

So after finding nothing, I decided to return to where the cows were, hoping that a farmer would come to pick them up because it would be strange to just leave them here with only a fence and no barn.

2 Days later (The morning of the third day, the first day he awakened was in the morning.)

In these past 2 days, I had learned some things. The first was that there was a farmer that would come every day to check up on the cows. I decided to not follow him for now, scared he would kill me.

The second is that I could draw blood 4 to 5 times a day. Which had raised my Stats and EE like this.

This was the result of drawing blood 10 times. A total of 4 on the first day, 5 on the second, and then today 1 and still counting.

I also found out that north of here was a road that the farmer had taken.
