Katherine, the second wife of the emperor Christian De Fasanovia, did everything to make sure that her son would be the emperor. She waited for him to sympathize with her. If that would happen, she would grab the chance to force him to marry her as his concubine.
But he only looked at her coldly with his dark and intense eyes. Though he was cold, he was still looking arrogant and regal.
"Do not cross the line, lady!" he warned with a cold look in his eyes as he started working on the papers again ignoring her presence anymore.
She knew that she could not force him more.
"By the way, I heard that Len is getting closer to her majesty. Finally, he is getting the love he deserves.
I am happy for him. Who knew he might learn the secret of mages one day." her smirk grew wider when she noticed his face turning darker.
"Ah, look at my insolence, I have taken so much time for you, your majesty, when Len is waiting for me to have lunch with him. I beg your pardon." with a meaningful smile on her face, she stood up and bowed her head and left.
