Chapter 57 Finding Someone Not Yet Familiar

The Puppet God, wearing a huge straw hat and draped in a black robe, sat in a wooden rocking chair—his carpenter's shop.

He held divine authority over "Nostalgia," "Manipulation," "Fooling," "Carving," "Crafting," and "Immortality," and was one of the most widely known and archetypal Phenomenon Gods.

The carpenters were his servants and followers, who came here seeking flawless bodies or to create beautiful sculptures, exchanging their strength from their own hands for power, the price being that their bodies would gradually become puppet-like.

This was once a world of deathly stillness.

Yet it was also a world in the process of resurrection.

Mortals from other worlds who came here used their superior craftsmanship to create many wooden citizens, and after the Puppet God infused them with souls, these puppets came to life.
