Chapter 10: Chocolate

" She give us some fruits": said Elias as he walk in to the kitchen.

" Omo! that little girl. That's right, from now on you must also look after her. She might act tough but she is soft inside and she is sick too. She is not in good condition.": said Aunt Tete as she pat at her son shoulders.

" Sick": confused Elias.

" She's been ill with PTSD.": Aunt Tete.

" PTSD! What in a world? But she look normal.": suggest Elias.

" Yes right. She din't have that sweet childhood time. Since she have disturbing thoughts everytime she hide her face behind those hair. I once saw her childhood pics when granny and I were talking and she is too pretty. That neighbour granny told me that everytime Dilbung use to have vivid flashback, nightmare, sweating, tremble, nausea and others too. She will hurt herself manytimes. Your neighboring granny used to worried a lot about her. So, she need to take her medication in time. Lately I once saw her being in delight mood, hmmm, might be she is too shock from her granny incident. So, lets look after her, mommy loves her, son."

Those words from her mother make Elias wonder about Shine Dilbung. Its not that he felt pity for her. HE can't understand the reason why he have those heavy feeling.

That night Shine Dilbung cried almost for all the night. But she stuck with her dog Don~Don, she even feel worried thinking the dog might left her too.

Morning.

The door bell wake her up. Dilbung came out with a half sleepy face.

" Good morning. My mom asked you to come over for breakfast.": said Elias with a bright smile.

Dilbung agree so and walk over to Aunt Tete home and had the breakfast together. No wonder she din't saw Aunt Tete husband but she din't have that guts to talk about, so she stayed silent and eat up.

After breakfast Dilbung trynna give hand to Aunt Tete for cleaning the dish but Aunt Tete refused it. Instead Aunt Tete suggest her to visit her granny with Elias.

Dilbung refused instantly saying that she don't wanna be burden to them and thanks her for looking after them.

As Dilbung got dress up and tryna walk out to visit her granny. She saw Angus standing there at the gate. She just feel weird around him. Thinking that he is not a girl yet he just stick around her.

" Dilbung": called the moment Angus saw her.

Shine dilbung greet him with a bow and tryna ignore him and walk away.

" I'm sorry. So can you not ignore me? Please, Dilbung".

Those words from him, with a solemn voice. Dilbung pause for a moment. Suddenly she have a flashback from her childhood, where see always seek her mother attention, saying sorry even though she din't commit any bad deeds, pleading her mother not to hate her, leave her alone.

" Are you alright?": Angus walk up and hold her hand as he saw her black out all of sudden and continue with his words, " Tell me everything I can be your ears, I won't tell anyone, just say something to me, please."

She look at his hand being holded her hand. And nod at him. Angus smile over her, convey his thanks. Since he loves her, he even felt sorry when he is not the fault. He just wanted her to fell free around him but not like a stranger.

Elias look over them from his first floor window. Wondering over Angus attitude towards her. He just kinda feel frustrated seeing him being accepted by Dilbung.

Hospital.

Tears well up, seeing her Granny lying their in the ICU room unconsciously . She just want her granny back and stay beside her even though she barely speak with her granny she always love her granny since then.

Angus embrace her warmthly. No matter how much she hide her expression behind those hairs, he can fell her somehow. He use too feel heavy. He loves her so much at the point where he want her to feel the feeling of being happy, love, trust, all those of the beautiful feeling even though if she won't be by his side. He comfort himself as long as she is fine, it's okay even if she din't love him back.

" Let's eat something yummy, i will buy it.": said Angus, right away they came out of the hospital. And he din't let her hand free from his hand being holded. He is always smiling over her no matter what he just wanna cheer her up, he drag her around each and every corner where their is many people busy buying, selling, laughing, dancing, just entertaining everywhere.

Its already 4pm. They just set off inside the cafe and order ice-cream.

" I like mint flavour even in ice cream too.": said Angus as he melted the ice-cream inside his mouth.

" What about you? Which flavour did you prefer?".

Dilbung sit still without a word, looking at the ice-cream what Angus bought for her in strawberry flavour since she din't give her answer when Angus asked about her flavour prefer before buying the ice-cream.

She just remember her happily eating chocolate ice-cream, sitting at the cottage chair in the summer evening. she can't beleive that she remember something sweet memory from her childhood. She just look up at Angus and wonder at him.

Angus take her home. And worried about her staying alone, but he can't says anything about that too. He just bring out a hairclip from his pocket, that he bought for Dilbung.

Holding up her hand and give it to her.

" I bought it for you....Ahhh.... just don't take me in a wrong way, its just a cheer up gift for you. Use it someday when you feel like.....but you look beautiful when clip up your hair....ummm.....just, i think granny will be happy too.But don't throw away, just keep even if you don't to use it.": Angus said in a high spirit yet feeling shy, blushing and even rub his neck.

"OHH!. Would you like to come in?": said Dilbung out of stunned.

"Yeah!?": startled Angus.

Don-Don ran out with a excited face, jumping and licking at Angus face. While Dilbung rush up to the kitchen to make dinner for them. Seeing the cute moment of her, Angus smile at her back view.

Awkward.

"Ohh. Yummy. Wow your skill is not that bad, really, its taste good.": said Angus as he stuffed in with the food. He is happy being eating the food, cooked by Dilbung just for him to taste it.

* Internal screaming that he is the most luckiest person*

" Chocolate.": said Dilbung out of blue.

Angus look at her with a question.

" My favourite flavour for ice-cream is chocolate. I just remember when you asked me before. It surprise me that i have remember a happy moment from my childhood.": Said Dilbung as she look down, yet with a sweet eyes and sweet voice as if she is thanking him for asking that questioned before.

Angus skip a heart beat. He is happy for the food and yet above that being thinking about of Dilbung sharing her thoughts make his heart throb louder. He is just beyond his word to speak up.

" Then goodnight and thanks for the dinner. Sleep well. Bye": said Angus with those dreamy smile and warmth voice.

" Umm, good night": Dilbung wave back as she came out to see off Angus.

" Your boyfriend?": out of no where the voice startled Dilbung, but turns out its Elias, holding a tiffins, standing there at the gate.

Dilbung tryna ignore and walk away.

" I think he is happy. Going back hobbling and smiling. Or did you love him?": said Elias with a serious face yet smiling.

As Dilbung tryna close up the gate. Elias said that her mother want him to take some curry to her. DIlbung take the tiffins yet not a word but suddenly she pause and said : " I think its rude to asked your sister about her privacy between others.".
