Chapter 28 Luo Feng

Later that day, all the injured Elders arrived at Long Lei's residence. "So what does Young Master Long Lei have to give us Seniors?" One of them asked as they all heaved out a tired sigh.

Walking across the sect while injured was no easy task, even for them. "You all must have heard of my lucky encounter I presume?" Long Lei asked them, hearing this they all nodded, no one within the Flowing River Kingdom hadn't heard about Long Lei's dogshit luck.

"Good then this makes things easier." He said as he paced around. "Disciples may leave, only Lesser Elders and above are allowed to stay here for now." Long Lei said before dismissing the disciples.

After they left the Elders had difficulty standing by themselves. "Okay, seeing as only trusted personnel are here, I can show you this." He explained before showing a green bean, immediately all the Elders eyes lit up.

"Isn't this, what Sect Master said would save him?" One of the Elders asked in shock, as they began to discuss amongst themselves, albeit very weakly. "Yes this is a life saving treasure, its called a Senzu Bean and can be used to save ones life in times of crisis. Currently I have 19 such beans, 15 to heal you guys and 4 are to be planted." Long Lei declared before swiftly tossing a bean to each Elder.

Once they received the beans, they looked at them warily, but they could sense the immense energy emitting from them. "Thank you Long Lei, you're already doing your father proud." Luo Feng said before ingesting the Senzu Bean.

Immediately as if undergoing a heavenly baptism energy surrounded him and his wounds healed almost instantly, he even felt, a bit stronger. "This, this is amazing, all of you eat them." Luo Feng commanded before looking at Long Lei in astonishment.

The rest of the Elders immediately consumed their Senzu Beans and their wounds healed. "I assume you can manage the sect properly now?" Long Lei asked, as they nodded their heads. "Good then you're all free to go, remember to quickly lock down the sect however, I need as much time as possible." He finished as the Elders were about to leave the hill.

"Elder Luo Feng, wait here please." Long Lei asked as the Supreme Elder stopped in his tracks. "Can you please tell me in detail, about the incident?" He continued as he looked the old man in the eye.

"Haizz, well you see, we had entered the forest and in no time we managed to track down the Beast King. Thins were going well, we had surrounded it and drained its power sufficiently, but then out of no where, it began to drain its own life blood reducing its own life span to kill us as quickly as possible.

After doing this, it swiftly injured almost every Elder, only Long Tian stood a chance, unfortunately the beast began to target the weaker Elders, so he commanded us to disperse. Before we could even begin to run away, the beast used an Earth level Law to summon lightning, almost killing us all.

All we could do at that point, was leave Long Tian to hold off the beast at its final breaths while we escaped." Luo Feng explained in shame and disappointment.

"But doesn't that mean, he could still be alive?" Long Lei asked, as he began to piece things together. 'After they left the beast must have only had a few high level attacks left, considering his affinity with thunder and lightning as well, the attack must not have damaged him too much, coupled with the senzu bean, its highly likely he's alive. The ring only further proves this.' He thought to himself as Luo Feng was about to explain.

"It is possible, but I am not sure. If he's hopefully still alive we could send a search party to look for him." Luo Feng said. "At least we could give him a proper burial." He muttered as he gazed at the forest.

"I see, then I'll leave this in your hands." Long Lei stated before turning around and heading into his house. "Also, I still have 4 beans left, after the matter with the search party is completed do plant them and take care of them." Long Lei finished before tossing the beans behind him.

"Don't worry, I'll see to it." Luo Feng said before leaving the hill at extreme speeds, so fast that Long Lei couldn't even keep track of him, he was still an 8th Stage Spirit Gathering expert after all.

'What an odd child, no that's not right, he's a monster.' Luo Feng thought to himself before helping with locking down the sect. For the next week not even a fly could leave the Heaven Breaking Sect unless it was approved to do so.

On the other hand Long Lei entered his room, his expression ashen. "This, is going to be difficult." Long Lei said to himself, as he looked at his 20 clones, they had continued his practice even while he was gone.

Almost as soon as he entered the room though, they dispersed. 'Only new clones who understand the current situation can train with the required determination.' Long Lei thought before summoning not 20 clones, but 30, this was his absolute limit.

"In the next 4 hours you guys better be finished with the Silver Gauntlet technique." Long Lei warned before going into a T pose. He was going to try break into the Preliminary Stage of the 5 Titans Technique.
