Chapter 14

* * * *

Eli brought Joshua to the cemetery. He couldn’t put his finger on it but there was something there that reminded him of Micha. He tapped his fingers on the steering wheel and whistled. The internal debate from a few hours ago, about whether he should invite Joshua to stay with him another night on the cot until he got a place, was decidedly over. He needed to find out if there was a connection between Joshua and Micha. All these years, and this is how he found Micha. Talking to psychics, figuring out their riddles.

Now, he sat there contemplating how he would move the items in his small place to accommodate Joshua. He never needed a big place, not with him constantly moving around. He just needed a place for his books, some clothes, and a place to shower. In the meantime, he needed to talk to the medium and figure out how Joshua fit into all of this. He went by the other day and her place was closed.
