Heinrich softly smiled before turning to support his back on the wall beside the Princess. He let his head drop on her shoulder shamelessly.
"You can trust me," Heinrich softly uttered, making himself comfortable.
The Princess clenched her knees tighter, looking away. His hair tickled her neck. She pressed her lips and clenched her eyes shut, trying to concentrate elsewhere. But the quietness of the room made it worse. She could only hear his breaths, her heartbeat, and the slow-dropping sand in the hourglass on her nightstand.
"You are the last person I would blindly trust," The Princess sneered, trying to get rid of her unwanted feelings.
Her stomach felt warm and her ticklish neck drove her insane.
Heinrich scoffed playfully, "You say that, but let me do whatever I please. Is that not trust?"
The Princess's eyes widened, "I trust you with myself… Not with my promises."
