Chapter 8: Rising Flags in front of OAA

"I will have to consider it," Said Gwen interrupting Pete from speaking with a glare. Good enough, seems that Gwendolynne has been betrayed. fucked over by someone? perhaps it was the world itself since she said she did not want to go back to her original universe.

"Alright, good enough for me. Im staying at the Renaissance near The Garden. Ask for Mr.Hellsinger that is staying in the penthouse suite." I told them before picking up my bottle of water and disposing the of paper plates that came with the slices of pizza.

"By the way, you can also land on the balcony of our room, im with the white haired beauty with sparkling green eyes." The spiders walk out of the Pizza shop and I wave them away while I turn to Stan the Man himself

"foolish kids," I say as I shake my head. "they don't know what is coming. but you do"

Stan chuckles "And so do you, Wanderer" He wipes the counter with a rag. "Young man, A piece of advice if I may?" he says in his kind tone.

"Here," The avatar says as he procures two pills in his hands, one blue and one red "chose the blue pill and you will keep your oblivious and quite skewed view of this world, as if people, lives, and actions don't matter. chose the red pill and dive into the rabbit hole of reality and one's actions and its consequences"

I furrow my brows, I mean he is right. So far I have been kinda taking this whole thing as a game. A bit drunk in power, not caring much for what or when.

I take the Red pill and swallow it. not because I want to, but because I never really took this world as more than a Jump I had to do for mere 20 years.

From there it's to Germany and back. I guess I have 2 or 3 days before Inavision starts (guessing from the time it takes to take to retrieve Loki Etc.

Time to get a laptop, make a basic form of a virus that propagates through tech like the clap and to be able to hijack every display screen and speaker in NYC (be it phone, Pc, or Billboard, etc) So I can call for an emergency evacuation. Thank god I have an army of Shadow soldiers to enforce such evacuation, even if people don't want to comply.

Finally, the immediate future threat is considered. I send a basic command to Beru:'make sure Coulson is not mortality wounded' he might get stabbed but not dead for 5 minutes only to get sent to TAHITI and get injected with Alien DNA serum.

An explosion stops my inner monologue, I look at stan as he just smiles and winks.

"Asshole" I knew this was his doing.

I walk outside at a brisk pace and see a mall on fire, a man in purple armor with a cape floating in the air.

"speak of the devil and he shall appear" I mutter while giving a stinkeye to Stan-The-Man before I will the Symbiote to cover me.

"Bellion. command the armies, Evacuate and protect the civies, Make sure the heavy hitters are not killing left and right, they are with the floating purple cunt"

A three meter tall shadow of imposing Bellion appears, and he bows. "As you command my king" I was about to say "Fuck it" and channel The complete power of the Shadow Monarch like I can do once a day, Since Im positive that I still have more than 24 hours before the Alien invasion. and just royally fuck the Jewish-Neo-Nazi up, but I knew that antagonizing Magneto or anyone out of the blue would bring trouble down the line. So i just fade into Stealth.

And with a few days for Loki to make his invasion… well I was not so sure that Thanos would not send a few of his children to collect the 3 stones that are here on Earth at the moment, so I would rather keep always an Ace up my sleeve.

I approach the floating antagonist as he and his goons of the Brotherhood of mutants are doing a faceoff with the X-people.

Magneto, Juggernaut, Mystique, Pyro, toad, and Sabertooth vs Logan, Cyclops, Kurt, Who I assume is Jean, her daughter or her clone(god, help me for only he fucking knows, they all look the same), and Rogue.

Eric has just ripped off one side of a mall thanks to him just magnetizing the rebar that was inside the concrete and half of the street was covered in debris.

Before I can Do anything My Spider-Sense tingles and I dive to the side as an Iron beam flies to where I just was.

How? I should have been in stealth.

I notice something in the air, light dust, which must contain something ferromagnetic, that is how he sensed me.

By the time it takes a few tents of a second to process that Logan Is already jumping to fight against the oversized murder cat with a terrible sense of fashion.

Toad is jumping and avoiding Cyclopse's concussion eye beams.

Kurt is teleporting and trying to hit Mystique who just evades him as if she was made from rubber.

While Jean(?) is using her Telekinesis to contain Pyro's flames.

All while Rogue is flying and dodging Juggernaut's brutal assault while hitting him every now and then.

Magneto is still floating arms spread in a Tpose as if he was Mutant-Jesus himself, fucking 8th grader syndrome maniac.

Jean manages to hit Pyro with a few chunks of concrete she lifted from the floor, damaging his flamethrowing backpack, he curses as he no longer can spit his flames freely, he has the brilliant idea to pick up something and throw it at Jean only to freeze mid air like the idiot that he is.

Cyclops has Toad in hiding, with little to no cover left, the green goblinoid of a man is sweating buckets.

Logan is about to beat Sabertooth, three claws in the air, ready to strike down, Sabertooth is roaring, both his arms unusable but healing fast.

While Rogue is still playing mouse and cat with Juggernaut.

"You are all useless." Mutter the Mutant Supremacist before shouting "Enough!"

He animates the rebars from around and immobilizes logan, who falls down with a growl. Cyclops hits a few of the approaching pieces of metal only for one to sneak behind him and snatch his glasses from his face, now blinded he tries to dodge but is ultimately restrained. Jean keeps the bars from reaching her but she shows her strain while doing so,

Meanwhile, I hear a distant jet engine getting closer. guess time to intervene, while letting the Xmen deal with their own shit, I claimed this city when I sent my shadow soldiers to do patrol, and I have to deal with the consequences.

Mystique was still dodging the attacks of her teleporting offspring well up until I just webbed her in place. She let out a surprised yelp as she was retrained by the sticking white substance that my body produced shooting out of me at high speeds, Kurt appeared from one of his teleports and struck his Bio-mom with a downward roundhouse kick straight across the jaw making her fall down like a sack of potatoes.

"Yooo! Look who it is. my favorite fridge ornament that has gained sentience! how are you doing there Magneticent? I was quite pissed off by you fucking up the mall and just straight up brawling on the street like a rabid dog. but what do I know about such a grandiose plan? ohh messiah of the master race." He narrowed his eyes trying to look menacingly, all while the sound of the blackbird was getting closer "Get your Phony ass out of here, and don't come back fool, this is my city"

While I tried to mock and threaten the master of magnetism, (I really sounded creepy with my Symbiote voice,) I had Bellion and most of my shadow army ready to spring up and fuck the living shit out of him from around 360 degrees.

Magneto moved his hand and lifted mine then snapped my fingers while giving him the biggest and most creepy grin full of symbiote teeth I could muster.

all hell broke loose as suddenly Everyone from the brotherhood was surrounded by very menacing and angry Shadows, Toad was receiving a Jojo's beatdown, Sabertooth was roaring in pain as he was basically being pulled in the 4 cardinal directions from his extremities by some shadow ants.

Juggernaut got a few spells by Tusk that made him sluggish and then covered in flames while other soldiers were swarming him like a colony of ants, Mystique was being threatened by two shadow swords while still unconscious. Pyro was being soaked in a continuous waterfall.

Everything while Bellion was continuously hitting at Magnetto's forcefields leaving a nice shockwave after shockwave with each hit

"get lost Ubermensch," I say in the most condescending and mocking tone I can muster towards the now sweating man trying to evade becoming minced meat while inside his bubble.

"I will remember this!" He screams trying to threaten me but it all comes out sounding more desperate than anything else before a portal eats him and his goons one by one.

I snap my fingers one more time and all the shadows melt into the ground once again.

"Anyway! Nice meeting ya X-people, Stay frosty, and do help out if I need it sometime!" I say and just launch my webbing towards a building and start to swing away.

"Jesus Christ, it's like there is no time for anything, all the fucking time one lunatic or another," I say as I swing. My spider sense itches rather than tingles, it comes from the direction the X-men were, but I ignore it, must have been Logan, marking his territory or something.

Jean blushed as she unintentionally read Rogue's mind about what she was imagining that monster doing with his long tongue to her.

"you are a perv" she whispered while shaking her head, the southern girl biting her lower lip while watching their savior swing away.

Jean regretted that her power made her learn the Kinks of her friends, sometimes making it difficult to look them In the face afterwards.
