A Child born without an affiliation to Yin or Yang.
This was a revelation to the pair.
A being, being able to be brought into a world were everything stems from an absolute law, to be absent of it?
One had to know that even Jia and Xuanyin, being incarcerations of the absolute law themselves had no idea of this occurrence, explaining it was even beyond them.
Everything had to be aligned with one or the other, Yin or Yang, but to encounter such that doesn't require either goes against the absolute law itself.
Because of this, the nature of Jia and Xuanyin, being the origins of Yin and Yang, felt themselves extremely drawn to him, almost as if attempting to convert him to one side or the other.
It was an attraction that none of them could describe nor stop, and though it wasn't something they had found annoying as one should've felt.
Even Jia, who had had no relationship with any being or figment of creation, couldn't resist a feeling she didn't even recognize. A was something new to her, more then a temporary amusement.
For Xuanyin, the circumstance was almost the same. Though not having a natural hatred of all living things, she herself too lived a life of isolation of her own volition. Her personality matched, as she was normally reserved and didn't interact with many.
As beings of the highest order, feelings such as love, pleasant emotions, were ones rarely felt. This was not to say that all gods felt distance to the core emotions, but was more specific to the attribute of the Absolute Law.
Indirectly, all creations were apart from one of the maidens. It was almost like loving your own children, they couldn't bring themselves to see them as anything other then results of their imaginations. To them, life was a concept, something that more or less equivalent to a game. It was like loving a stuffed animal one created intimately, they couldn't view the gods and life itself as anything other.
But the boy, named Jilun by his 'mother', was without the law of Yin and Yang. His attraction to them was both natural and unnatural. Jilun was the first life that they viewed as such apart from the two of them. A being, seemingly not created by either of them, was to them, equal.
Of course, the maidens of the absolute law know and see beyond everything. The moment his birth was set they noticed his abnormally. Though not feeling the emotion of 'love', their natural attraction mixed with an unknown force only solidified his positions in their hearts early on.
But there were two of them, and only one of him.
These polar opposite and eternal enemies couldn't share him, nor could one have him without the other. This is because they are equal. Although from completely different sides of the spectrum, they, in terms of everything beside personality and features, were exactly the same.
One couldn't overpower the other, and both of them couldn't die, as they were existence themselves.
So how would this conflict be resolved?
Would they let him choose who to be with?
Could they manipulate his memories and mind?
They couldn't. Jilun, being birthed from seemingly nothing, has no affiliation with either of them, which grants them no control over anything but his life itself.
So what would they do? Each of the two decided to wait out his life. He would ultimately make the final decision. Though, whether one or the other will accept it is another thing.

The Under Realm, Observable Existence.
Jilun wasn't born from any god. He, in fact, was born in a very newly formed Realm. Of course, all realm have names, as they are 'living' beings.
The Under Realm was fairly new, with development barely exceeding the trillions by the year metric of time.
Gods could no longer be born, as everything in creation already had a god.
So, he was just like every other being of the absolute law, except, he came from neither of the two.
Xuanyin and Jia watched his development from a young age. As existence was their eyes, nothing, not a breath escaped their knowledge. His every movement and meaningful event were closely watched by them.
Of course, Jilun spent a lot of time with his father and mother, Feng and Mei. As he grew up with no children around his age, they were the ones he mainly interacted with.
He grew up primarily working around the farm. He would help his dad and mom with anything that had needed to be done.
They watched as he grew, though to them, things such as time didn't exist.
Jilun grew up within the same village of Quadel, the same objective of exploring the world, surrounded by the same people. But there was a problem.
How would he, a mere body formed of nothing, with the comprehension of existences lowest life forms, ever be able to understand them or even comprehend their existence itself?
He couldn't. So, as Xuanyin and Jia were beings of the same yet different mind of one another, they both came to the idea…
Implement themselves among his life.
This way, they would be natural to him, much like any other 'human' in his world. This way, his understanding of them would easily relate them to humans. This was because existences such as them couldn't be comprehended.
Having a complete understanding of the mortal forms of body, they could easily act completely as such, perfectly blending in with the society.
Of course, as they were never born, they created their own 'mothers'. They were 'born' normally, and grew up as all mortals did.
But then came the decision. As they implemented themselves into Jilun's life, participating slowly with all that a mortal usually would do, they garnered the attention and the ever sought after 'affection' they had done all for.
Though, only one could be chosen.
A/N: Any guesses on who it might be?
