Xuanyins eyes shone as she rested her head upon Jiluns chest.
Jia didn't respond, her body still without movement or reaction.
Looking at Xuanyin dead in the eye, she brought her hand next to her waist, blood rolling down her arm.
A long red spear formed within her hand, its head reflecting in the light of the moon.
Xuanyin narrowed her eyes.
"So, you may 'die' again if it is your wish"
She slowly parted from Jiluns chest, as much as she didn't want to. If she could embrace him for an eternity, it would be all she had ever hoped for. Unfortunately, a hinderance that won't go away, or more rather put, can't go away, continues to pose as an obstacle.
Xuanyin wings spread wide to give her a majestic presence. Her gleaming blue eyes slowly parted its hue to the room, a sky blue engulfing the atmosphere.
Jia was unfazed.
Blood started seeming in from the walls and up from the floor, covering the half of the room behind her in blood. It in retaliation also gleamed, though a dark red which fought over superiority.
Jia's lips tugged to create a deadly, eerie smile.
"It is but a cycle of repetition, it is up to me to break it. You will have time with your death to figure out how you di-"
Suddenly, both Jia and Xuanyin disappeared from the room. The blood and blue hue soon faded, no where to be seen.
Jilun twitched from upon the bed. His arm moved as he brought his hand to his chest, scratching it. Though his shirt got in the way, it seemed to not prove a problem.
He wearily moved his eyes, their drowsiness apparent within their sockets. Looking around the room, he stilled dumbfounded.
'I could've sworn a bird is flying around in this room…'

*Swoosh*
Two white wings covered the night sky. It's brilliance only joined by the moonlight, afraid to bask her.
Her indifferent blue eyes looked down at Jiluns residence. She remained still before only her mirage was left behind.
Unfortunately, what she had predicted is all what is to be expected.

*Knock* *Knock*
As Jilun was planning to fall back to sleep, he heard a knock at his door. He turned his head to face the noise, his tired and droopy eyes displayed annoyance at the sound.
'Don't tell me Jia was right, Xuanyin just had to be enamored with me huh?'
Jilun shook his head as he lightly chuckled. Slowly getting up, he made his way over to the door. But before he could open it, it suddenly opened.
"What th-"
He was suddenly engulfed with two soft arms, their warmth incomparable to the warmth felt from the blankets. A scent all too familiar lingered in his nose.
"Jia…"
He looked down to her face. Truly her beauty didn't lose out to Xuanyin. Her eyes, although black in color, never failed to brighten any place they laid upon.
Jia met his eyes as she stood on her toes. Bring her hand over his lips, she wiped them, almost as if they were dirty.
Jilun noticed this strange action of hers as he voiced his complaint.
"What? I didn't wash only one night and you feel I am that dirty? I, in-fact, should be the one to be complaining as you haven't washed eithe-"
Two succulent lips covered his mouth before he could finish talking. Even though he was stuck up in the feeling of her lush lips, he couldn't help but fell her slightly shaking. He figured it was her excitement, as what else could be the cause?
But one thought was clearly prominent in his head.
'Though, how did she open the door? Was Xuanyin mistaken?'
He shook his head as he enjoyed the moment.

Union of Colloquium, Aster Grounds.
"The Gate Elder is dead!?"
The grounds master stood up on his two feet. All the other elders in the room mirror their leaders rare show of panic.
"Has someone informed the Imperial Sent!?!?"
The elder who seemed to be the one who told the grounds master of this tragic news hurriedly shook his head.
"It w-"
"How dare they!? Muran Palce still has guts to act so bold?"
An elder noticed a flaw in his statement as he stood up.
"Grounds master, although we are not on good terms with the Muran Palace, it would be absolutely idiotic to act so rashly in the Imperial Sent's domain."
The grounds master looked at the now speaking elder, unhindered fury within his eyes. The elder who spoke panicked. When had they ever seen their leader so furious before?
"Who else could kill him? Only an expert of the Palace Master could do so! In this grounds, only I could kill him, what, do you claim this to be a doing of the major powers?"
The elder shook his head as he slowly sat down, fright clearly expressed on his face.
A ploy of the major powers? It truly made him feel idiotic. A power such as them nearly possesses enough power to change the Empires way of life, it would be but a joke should anyone of his experience claim such an act was birthed from them.
The Grounds Master snorted.
"Have our outer elders take position on the wall for now, an inner elder of your choice shall join them. I will look into this myself."
The Grounds Master spoke to the elder beside him, seemingly the first elder.
The first elder nodded, slightly bowing.
"As you wish grounds master"
The elder disappeared from the meeting hall, leaving the atmosphere quiet. The grounds master looked around, his eyes wandering.
"I would like all out of grounds activities canceled. Have the barrier raised and protection arrays activated. I will personally speak to the Imperial Sent. Make sure news of this doesn't spread, we have to maintain normal conduct and refrain from displaying any weakness"
The many elders within the hall nodded as they disappeared from one after another. The grand hall was now empty, elders all scrambling to their assigned tasks. This tragic occurrence is one the Grounds hadn't experienced in years.

As soon as the grounds master assured no one was in the room, he kneeled, his head bowed down.
"I assume this was your doing? I would've appreciated informing me of such an event before."
*Swoosh* *Swoosh*
Above the Asgard master, an angelic being hovered, her beautiful pure wings creating wind within the enclosed space.
"It wasn't my doing, you should know I cannot kill. I've experienced troubles that may effect you as well. This will only increase with time, presume the worst as the future."
Within only a few words, the figure disappeared once again.
The Grounds Master looked up at the space the angel once was.
'A trouble… for her?'
He had experienced her power first hand. A being or thing that trouble her, most certainly be something of which this world cannot handle.
He only hopes the future retains its will to continue.
