"The same as usual," replied Ariana with a calm expression, as she sat in front of him. From her peripheral view, she could see the male nurse whip his head and look at her in sheer horror. He seemed affronted over the fact that Ariana didn't share the same anger and grief as him at the death of the dog in the movie.
Doctor Stoll chortled. He said, "There is no need for you to pay attention to Charlie. He is new and a bit too sensitive."
"However," he subtly added as he interlocked his fingers and placed his elbows on the tabletop. "You might have noticed it also, Doctor Harlow. Your reactions to such a tear-jerking movie were indeed flawed or if I were to use an even closer term to it, they were lacking."
